Took me a while to work out who was who but really got into this eventually.

My great grandma thought she was going through 'the change' but her 30+ year old eldest daughter persuaded her to go to the doctor at 53 and she was pregnant! Lived to the age of 96!
It was the one at Villa Park at the end of March.
I know, I did think 'well I've got to die of something and I'm in fairly good health otherwise' but recent events with family have made me realise that they still need me & OH so we should look after ourselves. BTW we went to the recent Slater cup match & saw Ed & his lovely family.
Obviously my GP doesn't. I received a letter 2-3 months ago with blood test results from a medical trial which highlighted high cholesterol, copy sent to GP. I expected they'd contact me but not heard a word. Feel fine so will carry on carrying on.
My M-I-L only ever owned 1 pair of 'slacks' which we persuaded her to buy when they came on holiday with us when we hoped to do some walking in the countryside. She wouldn't wear tights so when she went into care I had to get her 'hold-ups' as she couldn't cope with corset π
One of my favourite films
I thought it was Derek Fletcher who dobbed George in?
Me too, I hate it when you see posters advertising events that have already taken place.
But they seem to have added some newish characters like Akram and Khalil but not deleted ones who no longer appear. Perhaps they keep them there as historical references?
Me too
Is there a mug inside the box? There is one with that logo in the assortment of mugs in the hall where I do line dancing π³
Ooh fig rolls, not had one for yonks. Tasted my first as a small child at a neighbour's house & asked Mum if we could have 'pig biscuits' too π
The summary states that it was published online only. I might be wrong but I seem to recall reading it in the Saturday Telegraph's printed Money supplement. I don't read the on-line version.
For the same reason the Brookfield lot never noticed Meadow Farm until farmer Mulligan died π Perhaps it's all a bit like Brigadoon, lost in the mist π«
Edward VIII was Queen Elizabeth II's uncle, brother to her father who became George VI when Edward abdicated, before he was crowned.
2/2 Clive Horrobin set fire to the police house which was rebuilt I think but Aunty Chris was too nervous to live there & moved in with Peggy. Please correct me if I'm wrong π€
Didn't Dan & Doris live at Glebe & Shula inherited from them? She took over the Stables from Aunty Chris, Chris & George moved to the old police house, Phil & Jill moved to Glebe, David & Ruth moved from the bungalow to Brookfield farm house, then what Nynzi said followed 1/2
I pay Β£48 for cut and blow dry and my (excellent) hairdresser operates from a salon attached to her home. OH pays Β£30 at a unisex salon. They're both always busy.
π«
πππ spot on
My hairdresser left a very good salon to set up on her own in a purpose built extension to her home. I thought she would be cheaper but it's not.
I think most care homes have a salon & a visiting hairdresser. M-i-L was in warden controlled accommodation before she went into care & both had salons
There is only one race, the human race - Robert Sobuke 1959, also attributed to Rosa Parks...and here we are in 2026, 67 years later and what have we learned? π
I was disappointed with the ending. I do like things to be neatly tied up and the baddies to get their come uppance.
Even though I'm in my 70s and have had 2 children and regular smears, the sight of the instrument used for the internal examination made me wince π₯΄
False, this was the original name for Coronation Street
There seem to be a few t***s in Leicestershire, I'm embarrassed to say I live there π³
Don't know why she's taken the Grundy surname...she has a good relationship with her biological father
