A year ago today, Deb returned home from a rehab hospital, following an ER and ICU visit requiring a respirator. It would be her last hospital stay.

The next few weeks were good ones until her body decided to betray her one last time.

Rage, rage, against the dying of the light.

I’m not sure which particular bit of acting out by the Liar-in-chief you are thinking about, but even the WSJ called out the claim of DEI responsibility and called his tariffs “The Dumbest Tradewar in History.”

That was the top bracket, true, but few people actually paid it. There were so many loopholes, tax shelters, and deductions available that with only a little effort, the wealthy could convert ordinary income into capital gains.

These days, I always have to take a deep breath before clicking on Facebook memories. This week has been especially rough that way.

Love if you can, cry when you have to is fine advice. But it’s really hard to accept that there’s a plan to be part of.

I never expected a Kermit and Deborah Harry duet of “The Rainbow Connection” to trigger eye leakage, but the Kleenex box tells the story.

This is what I used to call a honeydew weekend, but I’m missing a honey. A lot. So instead, I’m spending it with my Auntie Social. The bitch hasn’t changed much over the years.

I had forgotten how much I dislike cooking just for myself.

First weekend alone since Deb passed away. Clothes donated, workout done, cat petted, chores underway. Need a break to stop leaking.
