"Your Account is Suspended" Message on X

The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X.

I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!).

So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.

Every single article I read about Madonna at Coachella mentioned that she’s 67. Not one article I read about Nine Inch Nails at Coachella mentioned that Trent’s 60.
ISN’T THAT WEIRD?
It’s almost as if everything Madonna has ever said about misogyny is true, or something. 🤷‍♂️

Left- Israel has destroyed Christian, Muslim and Jewish holy sites.

Right- Israel is stealing more land from Lebanon just like they are doing in Gaza with their "yellow lines".

John Roberts' wife is not the only Supreme Court spouse to shake down people with business before the court to give bribes. Ginni Thomas has a "consulting firm" (AKA a PO Box for checks) to funnel money to Clarence. #Corruption

As people celebrate 4/20, let’s be honest about the contradiction:

In many states, marijuana is legal.
In too many lives, the consequences are still permanent.

People are still carrying records.
Still locked out of jobs, housing, and opportunity - for doing what is now sold legally in storefronts.

That’s not justice. That’s hypocrisy.

State laws have changed, federal law hasn’t.
And thus:

Small businesses are squeezed. Research is restricted.
A growing industry is taxed and regulated in some places - generating real revenue - while the communities most harmed by prohibition are still waiting to be restored.

We should be building a fair, well-regulated national framework that de-schedules, taxes responsibly, expands research, and reinvests in the very communities that paid the highest price.

Progress has been made - because people fought for it.
But we are not done.

4/20 shouldn’t just be a celebration.

It should be a call to action.

Expunge records.
End the disparities.
Empower small businesses
Pass comprehensive federal reform.

How tragic that you could publish, then re-publish, then re-publish, then re-publish, then re-publish a cartoon like this over and over again...

The Worst Justice Ever His attack on progressivism last week was the last straw

I’ve long assumed that Samuel Alito was the worst Supreme Court Justice in recent history. But I’ve come to revise my view in light of recent comments made by one judge in particular. Let me explain... robertreich.substack.com/p/the-worst-justice-in-m...

Everything the Ellison family could own if Paramount buys Warner Bros:

Paramount+
CBS
CNN
Showtime
HBO
Warner Bros
TNT
TBS
MTV
DC Studios
Nickelodeon
Comedy Central
Cartoon Network
And more...

This is a rotten deal that the Trump regime has rubber stamped.

State AGs must step in and block it.

Yeah, well, what did Jesus even know about Christianity? Church thinkers figured out what Jesus got wrong, so they have “Just War Theory” and “ordo amoris” to explain why it’s perfectly fine to ignore what Jesus said!

/sarcasm, because reality itself sounds like satire…

A very common result with dumbasses. Just look at all the dumbass republicans that live their lives the exact opposite of the teachings of Jesus while professing to worship him.

I agree such a powerful backstop against the excesses of management is needed, but I think we can do it through legislation, not intimidation.

If a bank teller embezzles a ton of money and quits when they start investigating her, she can't say, "You can't investigate me because I don't work there now."
So why does Pam Bondi think she can get away with saying, "Congress can't investigate my wrongdoing because I don't work at the DOJ now"?

In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.

Iran insisted they did not agree to it.

At this point, I wouldn’t put it past Trump to pocket the $20B and accuse Iran of lying.
