People also tend to vastly overestimate how difficult the game is to learn. They hear that it's "complicated werewolf", but the starting edition is taught in about 5 minutes and is basically "learn as you go," between having the script in front of you and a Storyteller to ask questions as needed.

You see how wrong it is about the subjects you do know, and can extrapolate how wrong it is about everything else.
I try to avoid Clocktower discussion on Reddit in general (I often fail at this), but I have especially learned to avoid madness discussions there especially. It's genuinely awful, lol.
When you play Clocktower with strangers you establish histories that you can connect with a year later. “Sorry where did we meet?” “I was the Washerwoman that saw you as Sage but you were actually the Spy” “Oh but you were pithagged into Drunk and got Fang Gu jumped and then we won together!”
Final Three Con was fantastic. You should attend if you get a chance. I'm not experiencing so much con drop thankfully, but it'll be a bit before a recover my energy. I'm already thinking of things to do next year!

Losing weight has definitely helped me storytell in person better. It can be very hard on the feet!
AEW Revolution: I think people are blowing the ending out of proportion (and also skipping over the actual closing moments of the show). It wasn't great, but it's not near as bad as people are saying.
With that said, it's undeniable that Toni/Mariah should have gone on last.
For some time now I've tried to not make my Clocktower games linger too long (2 hours max) but lately I've made an effort to speed up my games even more and I've loved the result. Max of 4 or 5 minutes for whispers, even in large games.
The game was designed for this and it's great.
It was more so the followup post Chris Grace posted. The number of bad faith replies were astounding, lol. I was blocked by at least one person, and downvoted by several others, lol.
People like that seriously think they have the moral high ground because they're more "inclusive" than those preaching inclusion. I thought about asking how they would feel if someone joined while wearing a swastika but thought better of it.
