Keiko is VERY expressive. If she isn’t expressing herself with her hands it’s her ears and tail. She is very bad at hiding emotions UNLESS she is super duper mad.

It’s been a lot. A lot of grief. A lot of helplessness. A lot of anger. And a ton of exhaustion. And I have done this all while pushing my own physical pain to the background as much as I can.

Not that this is a “sorry i haven’t been around.” This is more of a why. Sending love to all of you. 💙

All this to say I am physically exhausted, I am emotionally exhausted and I have been for months. It’s why i haven’t been on as much. I think I am probably going to break once he goes. I know for some it’s not the same but over the past two years I took care of and held my three dying pets. 5/

Every day I’ve come over this week I can see just how bad he’s getting. I read a book on how death actually looks in people and from those descriptions, he’s got maybe two weeks left. We have all fought with him hard this week. I know I’ve cried more often than not after getting home each day. 4/

He is only on comfort medication, and he made it very clear he is DNR if he goes. Those were probably the only last lucid thoughts he had in awhile, besides getting mad at all of us or me joking with him that he keeps going out dancing in the middle of the night and him laughing…3/
