Hungary has chosen Europe.
Europe has always chosen Hungary.
A country reclaims its European path.
The Union grows stronger.
Looks like the IRGC have learned to time their announcements to the opening of the futures markets.
(11pm GMT, if anyone is wondering)
This came up on my playlist today.

Depressingly evergreen banger. Mood.
Two Bluesky posts, the first a Bloomberg headline saying “Trump would need a good reason to deploy ground troops.” The second a financial news post saying “Iran’s national guard claims to have captured US soldiers.”
Well this is an ominous pairing in my feed…
Want!
1337 - it was how I learned advising people to just choose a random port and “surely with tens of thousands to choose from we won’t have collisions” was really no defence at all against random collisions.
I've seen this movie, and I believe the right next step is moving to Madagascar or New Zealand and waiting out the zombie apocalypse.
"The breakdown follows months of contentious negotiations about how the military can use the Claude tool"
"Anthropic wants to make sure its AI isn’t used to spy on citizens on a large scale or to develop weapons that can be deployed without a human"
Every day brings another reason to use Claude.
It's gorgeous - if they've fit premium engineering (especially mechanicals) into that package I might have to get back on a bike.
Really hope it doesn't end up being a jazzed up scooter.
It needs to be light enough to lift and solid enough to be dropped out of an airplane behind enemy lines.
I bet they could pay those debts by selling their NYC headquarters and consolidating in Geneva.
Just saying…
I know I'm not the first to say this, but I'm genuinely worried about how much more effective senior devs are with LLMs than juniors, mostly because I don't know how new juniors are going to become seniors.
Are we the last generation of coders? Is coding going the way of hand-rolling assembly?
After months spent trialling all top-tier AI coding assistants, doing side-by-side comparisons, tracking output, and surveying happiness, our organisation of 200+ developers confidently signed exclusively with Anthropic to use Claude Code.
That's the tweet, no editorialising necessary.
Trump went from being “somewhat frustrated with his choices” to picking “somebody that I think will be very good.”
Anyone want to guess what Fox News wackadoo is going to get this one?
My money is on Jim Cramer or Lou Dobbs.

How does this even work?
The EU is a single market, won’t folks just send it via a Portuguese subsidiary or something?
Green Dems get 29% and a likely majority, is all I’m saying…
If you're worried about "big AI", take heart.
Based on past tech macro-cycles, right about now is when one would expect the dominant AI player of the future to be founded. It's a time to draft behind the current leaders and emerge solvent at the end of the post-hype trough.
Go forth and start it.
Bill Clinton could redeem himself for a lot of disappointing shit by acknowledging this little Epstein experiment with Trump.
Just saying, you’re 79 dude, go out big.
We have another candidate in the race to replace Jerry Nadler in NY’s 12th cong district.
This time it’s Mathew Shurka who is Jewish, gay, Iranian, and his dad is Israeli.
Shurka has spent the last years successfully getting conversion therapy banned for minors in states across the country.
Meanwhile, in South Korea: "Starting at the end of November, public parking lots with more than 80 spaces will be required to install solar power generation facilities. This obligation applies not only to newly constructed parking lots but also to existing ones."

For anyone on the fence about AI for dev - try pair programming!
Pairing often suffers when the typist can't keep up with the flow.
AI code generation is scary fast, but needs twice the vigilance and review, because LLMs are vicious and semi-malicious digital gremlins.
Together they're 😙🤌.
Did he get to keep the 50k he accepted from the FBI though?
Genuinely curious!
A post on the importance of sending letters
A post with Disney's address
Do this to voice your outrage at Disney's unjust cancellation of Kimmel and other people's shows for simply practicing their free speech, ASAP.
Oh wait, at Shopify? I thought you'd moved on and were asking from a new employer. :)
Imma have to pass, but I wish y'all the best! (Too complicated to do this kind of thing at a former employer.)
Depends on where, maybe?
DM me! :)
Soda sales and volume.
Ingredients aren’t the primary cost driver - the most expensive consumable for many shops is the box and other paper products, and 1$/slice doesn’t need those.
Not many left though.
I want to see someone pay their drivers license fee with 1.7g of gold bullion.
Do they break out an assay kit and jeweller’s scale in the dmv?
I firmly believe the most enduring value of LLMs to PMs is that they devalue verbosity.
Too many specs could have been a spreadsheet and some bullet points, but PMs defend their value in word count.
Those days are done. Feed an LLM if you want words, PMs create value by making the complex simple.
At a certain point, for better or worse, jocks get the idea that success is a team effort.
It comes with an assumption that anyone on the field not wearing the same uniform must be an enemy.
