I think in general I've kinda become sick of the "pretentious arcade gamer" culture of discussing games even tho on paper I agree with allot of the talking points. I think its too strict and trying too hard to prove itself to people who never cared with a fake level of "objectivity".

Unfortunately, I don't know if Blader has explained why he doesn't mind it in Magenta Horizon (I haven't seen him mention it in his backloggd review either). Also, I've only played the demo of Magenta Horizon, so maybe the full version doesn't, have it?

Blader is also hypocrite; he hates when side scrollers have I-frame dodges (see his video on Hollow Knight's shadow dash), but he's been praising Magenta Horizon quite a lot. (Also, the game flat out tells you the dodge has i-frames.)
