Taxation isn’t theft, it’s how we all live in safer, healthier, and happier society.

If we didn’t have the level of wealth inequality that we see today, you conservatives would actually stop seeing homeless people on the street that you all care so much about.
If wealth inequality doesn’t get solved, homeless people aren’t going anywhere.
Common sense.
Elon Musk is predicted to become a trillonaire by 2027, that is the GDP of Poland with 30+ million people.
Nobody should have that much money, it’s not just about the money, it’s the power that nobody should have.
We can’t let trillonaire’s become normal.
I saw a TikTok talking about people on welfare calling them “lazy”
All I’ll say if you think it’s so great go on it and see how “great” it is, trust me you will go back to work. You’re getting peanuts on it and it’s dehumanizing.
People who are on it are probably in a poverty trap, not lazy.
I find it funny how the rich will complain about “high income taxes.” Like bitch we know full well you ain’t paying shit, your paying less than a teacher. Stop your whiny bullshit.
The Air Canada strike is showing the power workers have.
Governments and big corporations can try and silence and punish the workers, but without the workers, these corporations are hemorrhaging money.
This is proof CEO’s aren’t the ones who do all the work, it’s the workers
I find it ironic how conservatives will tell poor people to “live within their means” but then will complain about how they can’t live off their income because of “taxes.”
Seems that also conservatives can’t “live within their means”
The irony! 🤣
Air Canada flight attendant’s are defying their back to work order, I 100% support their decision.
We can’t let big corporations and governments take away rights to strike when they are fighting for fair wages.
Why is it people who have never grown up in poverty are always the one trying to give advice on how to get you of poverty.
It’s not as simple as “getting a job” or “go to college” or “work more hours.”
You can’t budget your way out of poverty.
Poverty is complex, and it’s by design.
I truly believe our biggest threat to society is the rise of lack of empathy.
Individualism is incredibly harmful and slows down progress in making society better for everyone.
We need a society where people want what’s best for everyone and making sure everyone is taken care of.
Inflation from basic income "would not be a major concern".
– UBC labour economist David Green, Chair of B.C.’s Basic Income Expert Panel, which led the most in-depth government study on basic income in Canada.
Under capitalism if AI can do your job you will eventually be let go, capitalism is all about profits. AI and robots will be cheaper and more efficient.
This is why universal basic income will eventually be needed.
I want AI to take jobs, I want humans to be able to have actual freedom and be able to follow passions and have fun with hobbies they enjoy.
Our society and plant will be so much happier and better off once everyone is free, this survival state we live in is not human nature.
I’m 100% pro AI. 🤖
Basic income 'critics' usually ignore the data
Giving people income security actually boosts employment and education
Anyone who thinks Al and robots won't take over jobs is very naive, especially low wage jobs like restaurants.
Restaurants will be one of the first impacted by robots since restaurants run on very low profit margins, having robots would increase profits.
Any CEO will do it.
GPT-5 is performing way better today, it’s not hallucinating like it was yesterday.
More likely than not AI will not create more jobs it will make less. That’s why we need UBI.
Anyone who defends capitalism is because they are benefiting from it. If you are paid hourly or are not the 1% of earners, you are being exploited.
I’m convinced if we had UBI our society would be so much happier, stress free, and healthy.
The way we are currently living is so not normal and is unsustainable.
True freedom will be when AI takes jobs and humans can have the freedom to choose work.
Anyone who is against AI is against the future. It’s simple AI is the future.
As promised, here are all the answers I wrote to all the questions that a journalist recently asked me about Universal Basic Income, none of which ended up being published by them.
AI's got the chores—basic income gives us the freedom.
PSA: if you don’t know the definition of socialism or communism please don’t use those terms to attack a party you don’t agree with… you look stupid.
As much as people may like it or not, AI will be the future. The USA and China will not give up the AI race, this race will increase productivity and GDP growth like never before.
Why am I saying this? Because though it’s our future we must still make sure it’s used for good not bad.
It’s funny how people can be against a UBI, they are literally going against getting more of their tax money back. While at the same time bringing more equality in the current capitalist society.
If you're going around saying the answer to hunger and homelessness is to make sure everyone has free AI compute, there's a really good chance you vacation on private islands and have never gone through the process of applying for welfare of any kind.
The answer is universal basic income + housing.
Donald Trumps trade deals he is making are actually so shit, these are not gonna last long…
Gerald Huff, Former Principal Engineer at Tesla was a visionary UBI advocate.
He saw the extreme job disruption of AI and believed UBI would ease the transition to a world of abundance created by technology.
It’s crazy how we live in 2025 and people still try to justify letting people live in poverty.
