Let’s go to Oklahoma. Apparently going to be bumpy but evidence suggests they are still serving wine.

Let’s go to Oklahoma
Fantastic #Sebring12 - first I’ve watched flag to flag in a lot of years but this was excellent. Well worth staying up for in UK.
If you can track a copy down N. Krishnan's "No way but surrender: an account of the Indo-Pakistan war in the Bay of Bengal, 1971" is very good. There's also a reasonable overview in Naval Institute Proceedings from 1973 (vol 99 no 5)
One step away from him wanting to be much too close
Hellebores in bloom
It might be spring. Hellebores are happening.
Abandon all hope for peace.
Stock pot simmering on stove
Sundays. Stock making happening.
Possibly unpopular opinion but maybe A Shot at Glory will be watched tonight to salute Robert Duvall
I know, didn't see that coming at all
Mini Cask Beer Festivals!
We love Cask Beee. We love drinking Cask Beer. We love serving Cask Beer.
This year we will be holding a monthly Mini Cask Beer Festival. Expect 10 cask ales from some of the best breweries all on at once. We've got one-off, small batches & limited edition brews!
Christmas Eve, Taggart S01E01 - it's not aged well, but equally not as terrible as feared.
At risk of sounding like the young people - 6 7 - days on the @durationbeer.bsky.social calendar
Another quick catch-up on the @durationbeer.bsky.social 12 Days of Christmas in advance of first bit of festive hosting.
Anna's Kitchen aubergine and pasta bake before mozzarella is applied
And we're done. Tuesday now all sorted.
Obviously as OH also busies self with setting table Disney+ may segue into VIII and I appreciate that might be dangerous territory
Lots and lots of grilled sliced aubergine
This evening has involved a bit of extensive pre Christmas kitchen work, so I stuck Star Wars VII on, and pleasantly surprised, I remembered it fondly from cinema, gets a lot of hate, and I still think it's quite good.
Caught up. Day 3 of @durationbeer.bsky.social 13 Days of Christmas now poured.
Day late, dollar short. Second day of @durationbeer.bsky.social 12 Days of Christmas going while I sort Tuesday supper
Wrapped can of beer
Poured can of Duration beer
Getting started with the @durationbeer.bsky.social 12 Days of Christmas
Was excellent concert - well worth the trip
@psbhq.bsky.social is it a safe assumption that set times for New York are same as earlier in tour?
A Facebook post from two hours ago: ‘GB News is looking to broadcast live from a pub this Saturday and interview its publican. If you are interested contact us at press@camra. org.uk and we will pass your details over to them.’
Any low level due diligence on GB News would bring to light its various platforming of hideous voices, its numerous Ofcom investigations and its vitriolic campaigns against protected groups, such as the trans community. But, above all, a chance has yet again been missed by a complacent "neutral" organisation that could've promoted cask beer as an inclusive product, by showing how it's served in the most diverse venues imaginable. But, instead we're at the bottom of the barrel where racists are claiming cask beer is something that it's not: a white man's drink.
A good time to have a refresher from two years ago.

To Golden Samarkand.
Power cut in Tashkent. Strange to think such things were commonplace in my Dublin childhood.
Tonight's flight goes over so many evocative places - Trebizond, Erzerum, Yerevan, flight back in daylight in a couple of weeks should be excellent.
