Impeach, convict, throw him into a volcano, apologize to the volcano then go out for drinks.
Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.
He skipped church. Dropped the F-bomb. Praised Allah. On Easter.
You can’t make this up. The man tweets war threats while you hunt eggs with your kids.

I'm realizing that I'm happiest as a creative when I'm lost in the work. When the little world I made is all around me and channeling through me. When it's all I can taste and touch. When I'm standing next to my characters and seeing what they can see.

We caught a glimpse of an amazing world, one that was almost entirely free of corporate or political influence because the suits hadn’t caught on yet. We could talk with ANYONE in an age of landlines
So what I'm hearing is that poor people will retain critical thinking skills because they won't be able to afford AI.
okay so sam altman publically saying he wants people to rent "intelligence" from him like a power or water utility dropping the same day as a bunch of exploited african ai day laborers speaking out about their mistreatment by tech firms really tells us a LOT about what altman really means

That's why I'm so against ChatGPT. I'm against letting a machine do your homework for you. I think you should cling to Doing Your Homework Yourself like it's the last opportunity you have to liberate yourself from mental enslavement. Because it basically is.
Anyway shout out to Kai Cenat.
Library requests really help, friends! Even if you borrow books and return them without reading them, you're helping authors and libraries!
As @rst.bsky.social points out: part of the issue is people thinking the ai is infallible, but the other half of that issue is ai companies pushing that idea of infallible. Because actually checking everything would take time and effort, and it's that time and effort the ai is promising to minimize
Gonna be that guy again: you have to support trans work while you know you can.
It's more at risk than ever and I know some of you are engaging with the art and just not telling the creator!
So take this as your sign to tell somebody you enjoyed their work. It makes a difference.
Oh dear god. It's everywhere in the world of Beyond the Veil. Legislation that discriminates against orcs, elves, shifters, etc.; corrupt politicians and idealistic ones; and all the people who support both sides.

We have fed the birds twice today, and I've seen some species that I've not seen in our yard before. (It's like 20 here, but also with freezing drizzle.)
I don't like it diluting my drinks, I don't like it glazing over the streets and keeping me housebound, and I sure don't like it oppressing me and mine. Fuck ice in all its forms I guess is what I'm trying to say.
As we work to combat the Right-wing smear campaigns against Renee Good and Alex Pretti, I hope we'll also think of the countless others--disproportionately people marginalized by racism--who have been vilified to justify state violence and abuse, and who haven't had legions come to their defense.
