Nature would have found a way if arachne reproduction could only be done between arachnes. Because of the whole mixing and matching with humans, spiders and arachnes, it needs to remain separate.

Filtered. There is an organ that kinda functions like a placenta in that regard where the human small intestine would be. It filters nutrients between the blood (human) and hemolymph (spider) system.

And lore-wise, Golias is intersex themselves. Male human, female spider.

This is kinda done retroactively because of the female proportions. Male tarantulas are lankier with a smaller abdomen and with different pedipalps. And the female proportions are intentional because they look better.

This doesn't affect fertility very much. Just that male humans can't 'naturally' reproduce with intersex arachnes. IVF remains an option. Between two arachnes or with a spider this isn't a limitation.

An arachne always births arachnes.

With a human father, the children all have their mother's DNA for their spider part. For a spider father, the human part is fully the mother. This means male arachnes need to come from an arachne father. It also means that 50% of any offspring is intersex.
