More moments before the calm……
This is what it means to folk!
The moments before the calm…..
Siya Legenzda of Alfreton Town scored two goals in the sides vital 3-2 away win at Marine AFC in the National League North. The win takes the #GreatEscape to the final weekend of the season with Alfreton having spent most of the season in the relegation zone. A win for Alfreton over Curzon and defeat for Kings Lynn against playoff chasing Chester will see what looked impossible become reality.
After the goal and the celes, Alfreton Town’s Siya Ligendza has a quiet moment of personal thanks and reflection in a huge game for the #Ofton away at Marine AFC.

Sorry, thought you were going all lyrical there. Superb image though, the joy of patience rewarded.
Trees beside a loch, shrouded in early morning mist and glowing in the sun.
When you are convinced nothing is going to happen at sunrise and then the light finally hits the loch . .

A high-contrast, black and white photograph of Brutalist architecture. In the foreground, a long, two-story rectangular building features a grid of recessed windows. Behind it, two massive, windowless concrete towers rise toward a pale, overcast sky. The concrete surfaces are weathered with vertical staining and textures. The composition is stark and geometric, emphasizing the heavy, monolithic feel of the structures. A small bird is visible in flight against the expansive sky to the right of the towers.

A fence zigzags over the dunes on the edge of the beach at Sanna. Marram grass grows thickly here keeping the dunes tethered and softening the manmade boundary.

One thing I like about my countryare the networks of ancient trackways that are mapped and can be followed throughout the landscape. Sometimes nothing more than a pale scar in a chalk downland field. #BelieveInFilm #BoxBrownie
