I ruined a painting by trying to fix it with paint markers.

My nighttime landscape painting all fixed. Blues and purples make up the land. Beige for the sky. And silver for the crescent moon.

I tried fixing my colorful nighttime landscape painting by mixing paint markers. It didn't go well and I wound up making it worse! I went ahead and mixed up a new batch of red violet and repainted the section.

Now it's fixed!

Instead of jumping right into another job, I've decided to take this time to focus on my #art business. I'll have until mid-June, at least, to accomplish this. Sort of a test run of being a full-time #artist. My husband is graduating in May, so he should have a job by then.

LSS: Boss' business hasn't been doing good lately & he decided to shut down the 1 warehouse w/ employees. No, I'm not asking for pity, sympathy, or to buy everything from my website (although you can if you want to 😉). He's offered us 2 months severance & to pay out any remaining PTO we had.

Made a bowl of cereal with Buc-ee's beaver nuggets.

We've been snacking on a bag of #Bucees beaver nuggets & I was convinced they could be #cereal. I finally tried it & it worked! A bit sweet, though.
Make them smaller, reduce the sweetness, maybe add cinnamon, then you could have a pretty good cereal. @bucees.bsky.social call me! Lol.

After all the driving/walking, we were ready to be home. Getting back in the groove of daily life now. 📸
