The raw power that comes with the status of being a deity knows no bounds. One of my favourite dynamics is the submissive God and assertive mortal combo. Despite not being the dominant one, the divine side still holds all the power over reality. But his mortal friend often gets the last say.

Such an intriguing concept to be mind-broken by mere words. The whole underlying theme of a relationship between a deity and his mortal friend is also incredibly hot. It's the most extreme type of power imbalance. One living in a world of his own, the other having his world center around his God bud

I think this applies to everyone really. Testosterone levels are like a rollercoaster, you'll have highs and lows. If you look at it like that, only having the 'highs' could diminish your overall sexual drive. Gotta have phases of abstinence so the moments of pleasure feel more special.
