Yes, thank you. It's very frustrating that counties like Washington can get it right, but Hennepin & Ramsey sit idly by and change nothing, much like Mpls & St. Paul don't either, yet we have billions in MN budget surplus, a small part of which they could use to solve it.

Don't really have a problem with the end result per se. He's obviously helped some people in a big way, but if he's not being sensitive to them & their situations, he's being exploitive. Why isn't he looking for solutions or engaging local officials to properly shelter them?
The trouble is that we have the resources to eliminate unsheltered homelessness in MN, but people don't care enough to make it happen. If they took the MACV model they used for unsheltered veterans (get them into hotel rooms & work on getting them housed from there), we wouldn't have encampments.
