there were times in the show where I wondered if they were actually hinting at this, especially the ongoing bit where only his closest, most trusted friends know his real name (which he would whisper in their ear). would have been an amazing story arc.

it is a cartoon where characters make sardonic comments about politics! sometimes it's kind of fantastical but at its core that's all it really is! stop expecting more than that, I've been doing this for close to forty years now, figure it out!

love when readers have some weird idea of my cartoon in their head that has nothing to do with the dialogue-heavy, often two-talking-heads work I actually do. female penguin sex robot, sure, that totally sounds like a typical TMW setup.

I love Tom tomorrow’s work. I do I do I do. I didn’t like this one, though. It was all true. It was boring. Sparky‘s comment at the end for them to just go away wasn’t powerful enough for me. I would have liked it better if Sparky had fallen in love with a female penguin sex robot and then, in a future episode, she malfunctioned and immolated, leaving him wounded, but plucky as ever.
