Many Nights a Whisper is discounted on Steam during the Wholesome Games event!
It's always pretty cheap anyway so this discount is just an excuse to beg for you to play it.
1 hour-long intense emotion slinging!

A scene with a traveller on a cliff with balancing rocks and cairns, and a strange man sitting on one of the cairns.
A traveller in front of a large, round door that says "Vault door" in a science fantasy style environment.
A close up of a hooded, bearded elderly man saying "Step forth, take this phial of sacred oil."
A traveller in a science fantasy room with arched windows, hanging banners, a net over a bed and various ornaments and devices visible.
This is what the game I'm making looks like.
Gosh, this is stunning. π
I really appreciated not having to fill in known information from previous scenarios. It's a small thing, yes, but it's very nice not needing to find and enter Jane Doe's name tens of times. It cuts out unnecessary repetition and lets you jump straight into the fun new stuff in the scenario instead.
I just finished the City of Voices demo by @kinigames.bsky.social & @mattfrith.bsky.social. It's good! If you like Golden Idol-like games, you should check it out! store.steampowered.com/app/3342470/...
Dang. Parasite has been on my never-ending watchlist for years, but this post might just be the push I needed to actually check it out.
A demon standing in a glowing pentagram. The player stands nearby, shocked. A sorceress in a purple and dark blue robe is raising a heart to the air. It is in a pixel art style.
Theft mini game screen. We see a sleeping guest in a bed, a backpack nearby, and a cursor hand holding a sword.
The common room of the Weary Pilgrim inn at night. It is in a pixel art style. There are four tables, around which sit eight people in three groups. The player character is wearing an apron, and listening to a conversation at one table.
An alpine vista is in the background. In the foreground the player character is walking along a muddy road, towards the Weary Pilgrim inn.
Hey Blue-sky! I'm working on Innkeep, a game about being a sneaky innkeeper! You get to:
- Serve ale and food. π²πΊ
- Eavesdrop on guests to learn their secrets. π€«
- Develop a silver tongue and turn on the charm. π
- Sneak into bedrooms and steal trinkets. π°
- Summon demons?? π―οΈπ₯πΉ

I spend a lot of time talking about all the things historical games do wrong when representing (or, mostly, not representing) women in the past - for a change, here I wrote about some games which I think do something better and more interesting in their depictions of historical women & girls!
Oooo, this looks cool. I definitely gotta try the demo!
ICYMI: Ben Chandler is spearheading the next internal WEG project. We arenβt close to ready to formally announce what this thing is yet, but you can follow along with his dev logs here:
Very exciting!
4 drawings of little turtles chilling. each in their own place. The drawings are made by pen and colored with coloring pencil.
Huh. I forgot I never shared this here.
I'm selling postcards of my little turtle chill drawings.

IF you decide to contact these companies, be it phone, email, or whatever, be polite and friendly. The customer service people are not responsible for their business' policies, and they deal with enough shit as is.
Maybe we could find out.

The addendum to this is to run away from industry professionals who only want you to be there to gush about them and who only treat you as a thing they can get something for free from
Unfortunately there are still a few too many heroes you should not meet and certainly not hang out with
I spent 6 years making this game, and itβs my best work yet. I think youβll like it, too!
How does it feel?
I don't know
Thanks, friend. π Hope you've been well! I'm looking forward to checking out The Drifter soon (even if it doesn't result in free pancakes)!
Haha, yeah, I hear ya. I probably would've continued to stay offline but... I was missing some cool people, and the equally cool things that everyone's making!
I became allergic to social media and ran out of Claratyne, but I just bought a 110-pack so I'm all set for a while now!
Hehe, thank you. π₯°
Hey!! It's been too long - I hope you've been well! π
Whoops, I took a biiiig nap and then Twitter died while I was sleeping.
Please hold while I try to find all of you on here. π
