As if wanting to prove that White Christian Nationalism has nothing to do with true Christianity, Pete Hegseth tried to pass off a quote from Quentin Tarrantino's notoriously violent film "Pulp Fiction" as being an actual Bible quote.

BU’s DOS and Office of Judicial Affairs were thus doing the work of tamping down protest well before the reelection of Donald Trump, the deployment of ICE against protesters and the broader entrenchment of an authoritarian program in the federal government. Unfortunately, those offices and other units of the University have continued to do so to the present moment, in a local reflection of Trumpian disregard for law and free speech, notwithstanding repeated efforts of faculty and affected students to engage with the University administration.

For everyone asking “why aren’t the students protesting Trump?” perhaps ask instead “What’d the universities teach students would happen if you protest?”

Fun fact: Harvard’s founding predates the state of Massachusetts so its charter is actually incorporated into the Massachusetts state constitution. So there’s a decent legal argument that Massachusetts could reform or revolutionize Harvard’s governance through amending its own state constitution.

If Harvard is looking for professors who will provide "viewpoint diversity" in exchange for $10 million, I'll happily preach communism at Harvard Business School or teach courses on anarchy at the Law School.
