Moon 07.03.25 I am proud to present one of the most detailed images of the Moon I have ever photographed. I took about 1,000 RAW photos and spent many hours processing them to create the final 6K image. I intentionally enhanced the Moon's saturation to reveal the mineral composition of its surface. The reddish-brown hues indicate iron oxide, while the blue hues represent titanium oxide. I used a Canon 550Da amateur camera with a Baader UV/IR cut filter, a 2x Barlow lens, a GSO 150/750 reflector telescope, and an Arsenal EQ5 mount. I also used a Canon 6D camera to bring out the deep color of the mineral deposits on the lunar surface. The Moon is photographed on March 7, 2025.

I need people to know that the photos of colourful moon are not from Artemis II. They were made by a Ukrainian photographer, who enhanced the colours of the moon's surface to represent its mineral composition.

I can't stand to see an individual work be misattributed and misrepresented like this.
