I built most of this with my consumer-facing blog posts a few months ago but based on recent discourse I thought I'd make a few changes and share. Probably too much info for a page like this, and it's definitely opinionated. Everything is a WIP - including iconography. Would love to hear thoughts!
This is dope! Great work!
And next Iβll work on standard.site embeds to read long form blog posts anywhere in the app
Then put a TODO for drafting standard.site documents as a way around the 300 character microblogging limit
None of which is what Dr. Kay needs me to do or anyone else on the team but weekends are for whimsy
A warning label is a good sign, I hope God's ready
I have not, but I just looked it up, and I'm def going next time I'm in LA Chinatown. Nashville hot chicken *hits*.
No, I don't want milk, I just want more spicy food
No, I don't think you don't understand: tears while eating spicy foods are happy tears

Fully agree that it needs to be easier for builders to get paid πͺ so we integrated @at.fund!
We detect if you have your @at.fund setup and if so, we'll show a "β€οΈ Support this builder" badge in your ID card.
Example: sifa.id/p/taurean.br... @taurean.bryant.land π
We can just build things! ποΈπ·
Even better: stop treating tech monopolies as if they're an immovable part of the landscape which we can only accept, ban, or regulate. We have the means to replace toxic social apps with better ones, including youth-designed and youth-governed alternatives.
This is the move btw
The only people I want to see lose in this environment are named Zuckerberg and Musk. In fact, it's why I'm here.
I'm willing to put my heart and soul to fight for everyone else. Ask people who know me, this isn't some throwaway statement.
I live for this shit in a way you couldn't imagine.
And for those throwing shots and telling me to touch grass, I wrote most of my posts from my backyard today. Appreciate the thoughtful responses, though.
And to be clear, I'm not standing still. I've already started the work.
Your move.
I just want to see everyone building here win, man.
Opinions on opinions are fine, be angry or dismissive or whatever. But I've been seeing opinions on opinions for months, so please do something you believe in instead.
I'd rather be wrong than see us all lose.
Takes are good. Something tangible is better.
Like Erin said: pick a fighter. I'm down to see what stands.
Will keep you posted!

Shouldn't be a rule in any house, this is a habitat of happiness
"it's supposed to be side dish" who said? Who made that rule? Introduce me to the rulemaker,
Don't stare at me while I shovel down this bowl of kimchi, that's rude

This is the real fundamental challenge of the creator journalism age. Journalism outlets are institutions and can bring some fire power to some legal battles, or dissuade moneyed litigants from trying to destroy individual reporters.
We can just work together
My talk from AtmosphereConf is up on YouTube now! Go watch it.
If "ChatGPT" can become a part of people's daily vocabulary, I see no barrier to entry with a word they already know in a different context other than showing in the right places
Was about to say this - has happened to me the last couple times. That link tag last step is easy to miss.
