Why are we bringing back anti-LGBTQ slurs in LGBTQ spaces? I saw a ribbon at Sakura Con that had a slur and a LGBTQ entertainment news website that used “(slur)cent” to describe LGBTQ speech (though the typical high pitched masc lisp is not a blanket statement for how we talk..). Just a tired DemiBi

New authors may not know they can have an anti-AI clause in their contract. When I started writing and got my first contract, I didn't know this could be a thing because AI wasn't as shoved in as it is now.
Readers need to go after the publisher, NOT the author. We don't need forced GenAi covers.

There's discourse on book threads about an "artist" claiming to work for the big 5 publishing groups and using GenAI to create covers. The scary part of of the discourse? There's been mobs to name and shame the author (not the "artist" / publisher). (cont)
