I've just listened to the first 2 episodes - moving stuff, and I think it's so important to think about these things. I was also interested to hear that Joe is an actor - I had a look at what he's been in. I enjoyed the adaptation of Howard's End that he was in & might have to give it a rewatch!

Roseberry Topping always sounds to me like something you'd sprinkle on top of a dessert. But in fact, it is a real place, and Matthew's been busy climbing it with @theyounguns.bsky.social. Give it a listen (maybe whilst having a dessert).

13 events sold out at Stage4Beverley this year! And 84% of tickets sold overall, not that I'm counting or anything. It's been great to see this festival going from strength to strength.

Very pleased it worked out ok! Our programmer had quite a job on her hands to find a replacement with a couple of days to go, but this will be brilliant. It's so rare to see Kate in an intimate setting these days, and especially as a duo with Damien. Poor Sam, hope he is better soon.

I agree - it had a lot going for it (some great performances), but overall I felt it was lacking something. The pacing at the start was very slow, but then other bits were skipped over. The trailer set my expectations high, which might not have helped. Haven’t read the book to compare them.

Well done! I’ve got all but Noising Up - not sure if it’s still happening or how to submit though.

I would definitely do this, or jump with fright at my own reflection.

Very proud and excited to share that @janandjon.bsky.social will be performing orchestral arrangements of their songs with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra at Celtic Connections on 16th January. A real dream-come-true gig for us! ❤️
