A look at how I made Force of Will for MTG Strixhaven Mystical Archives โจ
unexpected side effect of reading mo du: getting a josh groban song stuck in my head in the year 2026
"little boys couldn't see themselves in it" when my 7yo son chose to be Mira last year for halloween. little kids of any gender will see themselves in whoever has the coolest weapon probably.
That makes sense!
Would one made for toddlers work for a dog? because you can get those secondhand for pretty cheap once families outgrow them
My first A3 format painting :) The first one that worked out. It is much harder to work on larger formats.

happy birthday!
I'm working on a bookbinding of one of my favorite Nie Huaisang fics (archiveofourown.org/works/294884...) and I'm experimenting with a cover structure inspired by kintsugi, where the bookboard will be separate "broken" segments pieced back together
(I just noticed a shift towards stop-suggesting-books in the discourse and we can't, we have to remind the adults who buy books that there are other books kids in their lives can and should be reading)
Metro Boston #BookSky!!! Next week is April, which means next week the Metro Boston Indie Bookstore Crawl returns! We're up to 25 stores & passports will be available for pick up some time next week. Start planning your route now!
I spend enough time in bookmaking spaces that I keep thinking "Ugh yes, fuck that brand of printers especially." before forgetting that it can refer to other things.
Just let your kids loose in the library, you don't have to vet everything first, they will find some cool new stuff on their own.
A lot of HP's staying power, that I see, is coming from parents who remember enjoying one (1) series of books as kids and don't even bother to seek out anything new when it comes to their own kids.
My daughter recently enjoyed "The Last Hope School for Magical Delinquents" if anyone happens to be looking for a middle grade magic school book right now.
The thing about having kids is they will introduce their own memes into decade-old games for instance there is a thing you can do with portals that they're calling "6-7-ing"
I'm reading Mo Du now! Not sure I'll manage much of a liveblog but I suspect I'll post the occasional reaction
It's "Butterfly Effect," the one where Jin Ling changes history for the better, and has to live with the result archiveofourown.org/works/163715...
๐ this looks really cool, I hope to be able to read it someday!
A belated huge thank you for recommending this series! We're on book 3 now and all the kids love them, 7yo especially. He is dressed up as Marnie today for "dress as your favorite book character" day at school
Forever associate these with Magneto in the first xmen movie (he had one without strings lol) so what I'm getting from this is apparently Magneto/Professor X is the definitive omegaverse relationship of all time
(do it)
Chu Shuzhi!
Evil as Humans for an urban fantasy monster romance with some very fun body horror. Or C Language Cultivation (by the author of Little Mushroom), in which the main character gains the ability to cultivate via programming, which was all fun and games until it made me cry for real
"I, Your Emperor, Have Been Wronged!" for a really funny light read! (transmigration that comes with the ability to load past saves/rewind time in real life)
They look good! We've been making pretzels for a few years now and neither spouse nor I have ever gotten the hang of the traditional pretzel shape, I've mostly stopped trying ๐
Oh, huh! I guess I've just seen black cat art and just assumed!
I have not read it (yet) either, but yes there is a cat! That makes three priest black cats that I know of.
