I’ll be at QCTip next week talking about Global and Local encodings for Distributed Quantum Computing, an idea that has already led to published work with more on the way. Interested? Read my blog post about it:

Edinburgh quantum science festival was a fun volunteering experience! Kids just wanted to know how fast thing were (priorities!)
German or autistic? I’m apparently both 🤣 To quote the result “it's people for whom the gap between how things are and how they ought to be is not an abstraction but a constant, low-grade irritation”

I’ll be in Singapore June 1-26 for the @quantumlah.bsky.social’s Quantum Hackamonth! Exciting!!!
Open research question we’re looking into! There are ways to reduce the loss and photonics definitely plays nicer

Crazy LinkedIn occurrence of the day... I hope no one in the field feels compelled to pay for recognition of their “influence”. Especially not in a gendered setting
Copilot will use your code for model training starting next month unless you opt out 👇 If you’re a student on the free plan, consider whether you want to disable this before April 24th
Got a Python PyPI library that you would like to auto-version update when you push a tagged change to git? Check out my crash tested tutorial on how to set up this automation: grageragarces.github.io/Tutorials/gu...
Went for a 6 am yoga session, followed by a cold dip in the Edinburgh sea, big breakfast, sauna and shower. Still made it into the office by 9, currently feeling like I am living a second day
Gilles Brassard explains how he met Charlie Bennet on a beach in 1979. The lesson here is that next time you see somebody on a beach who looks like a cult leader, do not hesitate to approach them to explain how quantum money works. You might both get a million dollars one day!
I recently made a presentation to my classical computing systems and network architecture team about why quantum computing is interesting. Check out my practice talk bellow 👇

Got a patent accepted from my time in @cisco.com ! I can claim to be an inventor now 😆🙌

There are probably more players than you expect!
~7th post of my DQC blogging series
Starting to post a bit on YouTube. I realised it's a good place to upload my practice talks. In the meantime, here’s my old application to the Unitary Foundation microgrant (which was accepted!). If the 2-min video requirement seems intimidating, this is what I sent: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XCh...
www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5lI... + Spanish VPN -> a very weird experience. Funnily enough this was found by my mom who was happy to follow a podcast episode I was invited onto but also incredibly weirded out by hearing the complete wrong voice
YouTube now auto-translates videos in certain regions. On one hand it’s probably nice for accessibility, on the other I never expected to hear myself speaking LATAM spanish… not sure how I feel about it in all honesty, given that I do speak Spanish and thus have personal phraseologies & accent
Some nice art I saw at the Palacio de Comunicaciones (Cibeles,Madrid) last month
Please avoid contributing to my projects with fully AI generated PRs that you don't even read through
See ya at QCTiP in April!

I thought it was some sort pf marketing? For business? At least that’s what LinkedIn context clues led me to believe
I finally googled what SaaS means. Thoroughly disappointed…
The partitioning into sub-circuits was done with a relatively simple greedy community detection-based strategy, but instead of using circuit cutting I simulated the network communication via the communication primitive sub-circuits with additional induced noise. Simple but effective :)
Couldn’t be more excited to share my first peer reviewed paper: scirate.com/arxiv/2602.0...
An empirical exploration of distributed error correction, namely ZNE, under both local and global encodings (ZNE -> partitioning vs partitioning -> ZNE).
Some of the results are quite cool & unexpected!
I’ve recently heard of moltbook (a social media platform only for AIs). It’s wayyy more interesting than you might think:

It was great, very well written and interesting. I learned a lot of new things
