Exactly this! I can see clearly that BP is wonderful, but I know it would just IRRITATE me. In the same way I have no gear fear in Marathon, I can see how getting 3 man ganked mid quest to lose all your gear would infuriate people.

From reading his initial couple of paragraphs - I think its okay that he just doesn't like extraction shooters - but I dont know if he knows that? I'll never like puzzle games, I'll never play games like Blue Prince cause I know itll frustrate me, but I dont need in on the action to appreciate it.

from the transmission after the show, the dev stated 'our main objective is to make a game that is specific to the people who made it' and 'it felt natural to bring it home'. Theres some cool details, but essentially the town is based on where one of the devs grew up. Make what you know I guess!

theres been 50k redundancies and removals in the last 3 years and this is the only instance I've seen where people are going 'well it can't smell like it used to because you fired them'.

of course it isn't fair either. I have friends that are still there, and some that aren't, but saying their new title cant look or feel like their old one just doesn't make sense to me?

Where was the outcry that Destiny music can't sound like Destiny anymore when they fired Michael Salvatori?

a number of good friends of mine are still at the studio - who also shipped DE back in the day. I think its unfair to the people who stayed for us to assume the studio can't play to the strengths from their last launch.
