As a premiere alone that sets that tone and setting, it does the job excellently. I loved the start. But that's perfect question, Dapper DM. Idk how a casual viewer would react to all the backstory that goes into "Shadow Lord". Maul's alive after TPM, Shadow Collective, Mandalorians follow him...

Hmmm... To each his own, but... Does "The Duel" count as a premiere when Disney dropped all of the Volume One shorts on the same day?! The premiere usually informs us about the tone, the setting, etc. Idk, just saying...

PS: Also, I watched "The Duel" last because it looked the least interesting.
