Birb day! Happ birb day!
That feeling when you return to a particular spot after a while
Such as your dentist's or barber's chair
Or a particular seat in an airport
Weird feeling, man.

I'm still so absolutely obsessed with @wizbirdgames.com's Cutting Edge: Roots of Mutation. So hyped for the full release!!
I've literally only ever "upgraded" smartphones when forced to: either my old one stopped getting security updates, or it broke due to no reason of my own (eg. Nexus 5 bootloop, apparently the Pixel Fold's hardware failing?)
This thing supposedly lasts for 300,000 folds?? lmao sure alright
I'll continue my rant:
It seems my Pixel Fold's 'is folded' sensor crapped out. The displays don't swap when unfolding the phone.
Luckily I can use 3rd party software to force a certain screen on, but... seriously? This thing is less than 3 years old and its MSRP was over $1.5k. Absurd.
Being at least Lv.30 seems to have automatically granted me the "50% more likely to complain about software" attribute...
>going through some Discord channel stuff
>right clicks a post
>"Close post"
>wait what does that even do
>searches
>"Close post" moves the post to be inactive
> ....
>then why not just label it "Move to inactive" or something.
????? ?? ???????
Hello I am once again ranting about Winblows 11 by Microslop
So glad that *checks notes* swiping on my laptop to change virtual desktops can just make Explorer straight-up crash.
Yeah. It can't even swap desktops without exploding. -nan/inf stars, You Didn't Even Try

Brooke from Cutting Edge: Roots Of Mutation on the beach in a swimsuit for the alleged Beach Episode. Post text references this post: https://bsky.app/profile/wizbirdgames.com/post/3migtfsg6ns2v
And you know what the funniest part is?
Now you'll be questioning whether I was actually kidding about that beach episode or not...

A Cutting Edge: Roots Of Mutation operation featuring an injured tortoise inundated with sand. The surgeon, Peri, is saying, "There's sand everywhere! It's coarse and rough, and it's causing massive vitals loss!" This image was posted on April 1, 2026 - or, in other words, the first day of the month of April. *subject to subjectiveness †me, I'm the demand
I am pleased to announce that, due to popular* demand†, #CuttingEdgeROM will now include The Beach Episode!
Surely nothing will go wrong in this sand-filled beach-side paradise!
I sure hope Spark brought the shop vac along for no reason in particular!

FA April Fools? Hmm...
Hmm? April Fools? What ever are you talking about~?
Cool sonic boom effect!

Good job resetting all my Start icons again, Winblows 11 by Microslop. >_>

Comparative anatomy illustration showing different mammal species bones where all the knees point in the same direction, as they always have. Taken from the paper "Comparative anatomy and morphology of the knee in translational models for articular cartilage disorders. Part I: Large animals"
Comparative anatomist expert witness at the Furries v. Subscribestar trials:
Your honor, as exhibit A clearly demonstrates, all mammals have "human-like knee orientation." It is only the relative proportions of the limb segments that change.
So everyone I guess needs to toss on the Cobalt Core visualizer again because YouTube Studio informed me today that the view count just got surpassed by someone doing ASMR shorts on top of my tracks (which shows up in my analytics for some motivating reason I'm sure)
I love Dark Cloud
I still listen to its OST every now and then...
*owl mustache wiggles*
*sighs and begrudgingly links this to that one friend of mine*
I think I'm the opposite, actually
I find reading rhythm from notes pretty easy; but the concept of I III VI V chord progressions inversions etc etc is like "???" to me
Maybe that's a result of learning music as a kid? I was more interested in the notes than the theory...
Being able to play by ear / having perfect pitch must be really cool, I always wanted to be able to do that!
I feel ya, though, I also swapped keyboards from the musical to the computery kind 😅
I guess it's never too late to go back though!
'grats! I should go back to practicing... used to do it every week as a kid. Only now do I appreciate how much money my parents must've spent on lessons for me @v@
I think being able to read music at all is pretty cool! It's like... a special ability or somethin', being able to "hear" sheet music in your head! Keep at it!
🐦✨
I'm probably overselling my use of "sightreading" ahah, it's more like, "I got most of the notes right at maybe 1/2 or 2/3 tempo"
(it's also in Cmaj lmaooo)
I did play piano a lot as a kid, though, and I played clarinet in band! So my treble cleft is pretty good; my bass is pretty bad though 😅
It's nice knowing how to read sheet music
For whatever reason I found myself sightreading some random song from my piano book, and I managed to more or less make it sound like how it's "supposed" to sound. (I looked the song up afterwards.)
idk it's just a thing I thought is neat
its been forever since she's been posted
