A tweet from Representative Thomas Massie that reads:

I just viewed 2 Top Secret FISA docs.
1) FISA Court opinion that raises serious concerns about FBI implementation of FISA 702.
2) letter by Senator Wyden describing a secret government interpretation of FISA law.
The Constitution requires I vote No on FISA 702 reauthorization.

I sent a classified letter to House and Senate colleagues about a secret interpretation of surveillance law that every American should be concerned about.

Representative Massie is right. The Constitution requires EVERY member to vote against a clean reauthorization.

Here's a perspective even many trans allies might not have considered: "the risk of transphobia interfering with ... medical care" is often rationally perceived to exceed vastly "the risk that ... birth sex will matter to ... diagnosis or treatment"

April 14 has been designated World Quantum Day in honour of Planck’s Constant which can be rounded to h~ 4.14×10−15 eV·s (and some folks write April 14 as 4/14*). 🧪🐡🎢 Planck’s constant comes up a lot in quantum mechanics; for instance a photon’s energy is h times its frequency). 🧵

No shade to the OP for admitting this, but it shocks me that people my age don’t know this.

You fundamentally cannot understand how the world functions, how power works, if you don’t know history.

It’s a little rough knowing how widely this is true. Even when people come forward with their own story, wanting to go public, the work it will take to get from there to publication is intense—and can honestly feel monstrous to survivors

if a position of authority can be misused in this way, that position of authority should not exist. It's clearly not enough to simply change who is in that position, no more than praying that the next king be better than the last.

Op-Ed | Albany’s online ‘safety’ bill incentivizes surveillance, chills free expression | amNewYork This lack of public input is why Equality New York is in a coalition alongside civil rights groups and advocates from across the state in urging Gov. Hochul,

"In a moment of rising censorship nationwide, hostilities toward free speech, and federal efforts to silence the LGBTQ+ community, a bill like this has the potential to further threaten constitutional rights and undermine access to online resources."

When we talk about what the NYT is up to now, it’s actually helpful to be attentive to the fact that they have *always* done shit like this

It's effectively a declaration that what they are at war with is transness itself and that they will stop at nothing to mandate conversion therapy for all of us. That's it. That's what it is. That's what it is meant as. There is no other way to read it because they are blatant about it.

Missing Airman Raises Concerns That Iran Could Gain Leverage Over the U.S.

It would be useful if the NYT explicitly stated that the pilot, if captured, would be a POW, that there are laws governing how POWs can be treated, that respect for international law on war shapes how the enemy approaches it, and this is why the US conduct of this illegal war has been so dangerous.

How AI Surveillance Tech is Creeping From the Southern Border Into the Rest of the Country Surveillance technology has long been part of policing the border. ICE’s growing raids are bringing it to many other areas.

ICE is expanding its use of AI, data analytics, facial recognition, and surveillance tools far beyond the border -- embedding monitoring and tracking into everyday life across the U.S.

I am constantly amazed at how many people have totally internalized the blatantly false belief that Section 230 was premised on platforms being "neutral" when the ENTIRE point of it was the opposite, that they shouldn't have to be.

The loser in charge of running this account has copy+pasted this exact post in reply to four different trans journalists.

If this were a person, we'd call this a crashout. No idea what to call it when it's a formerly respected news organization trying to push obvious misinformation.

Your data is everywhere. The government is buying it without a warrant Data brokers buy up huge amounts of information from cell phones and browsers to sell for targeted advertising. But the government, including ICE, also buys the data.

No really, I am not kidding when I say that the data broker industry must be destroyed: www.npr.org/2026/03/25/n...

Why Transgender People Are Not Feeling Gavin Newsom We have seen this song and dance before.

There seems to be a lot of discussion about Gavin Newsom today.

I wanted to re-share this piece that I wrote, because I have a lot of center-to-left Dems that follow me that want to understand.

There are very good reasons transgender people do not like Gavin Newsom.

Just as ICE and CBP have no legitimate role in "election security" neither does the head of DHS. The mere existence of this press conference should be a scandal, much less this tone-deaf comment.
