Did this a while ago, it is for a game idea of mine that I had been developing since like, before High School, it is where my username comes from fun fact, as one of the main character's name is Colistan
Posts by Colistan
An elven woman in a dress and corset wielding a ball of fire, her hair wreathed by a twisted halo that resembles horns.
Of the fractured remnants of magic, fire is supposed to be pure, descended from a dead god shaped from molten flesh and starlight.
Yet in Vankraeche, fire is guided by the hollow malefactions of daemons. At least, that's what the people would tell you.

I got poison today, so I decided to do Venomoth, no real notes, just Venomoth the ATV
Today I got fighting, and of course I did a monkey, love monkeys
Anyways, decided to do some shading practice here
got fairy today so I went with Clefairy, I am mostly doing these out of practice with art, I am not that bothered by how far different they are, I am seeing here that I oversaturate colors too much
I got Rock today, so I went with Rhydon, I prefer Rhydon over Rhyperior, felt like this big guy didn't need to evolve personally
Regardless, I usually don't do well with big creatures when drawing, though he wasn't as detailed, it was still a bit of a challenge for me
today I got ice so I went with Alolan Sandshrew, I am off with a lot of things but the vibe matches
tried to go for a more cute angle here
today I rolled fire for gen 1, so I did HIsuian Arcanine, I... missed a lot of things, like the snout and such
today was steel so I went with my favorite gen 1 steel type, which had to be Magneton (I am counting regionals in its own gen, so Alolan Sandshrew as an example was a contendor)
comparing to how it actually looks, I missed additional magnets and the screws
Decided to try something out while I am drawing creatures and such for a project of mine, so gonna try drawing pokemon from memory, based on a favorite type in each gen
this one is my favorite Grass type in Gen 1, Paras is cute and I do like Parasect as well, a bit underappreciated in my opinion

New icon for my little Applesnake persona that has a stronger presence than the old one. I switched him from a python to sort of a viper creature!

Here are Suunari's journal entries which I intended to post alongside her!
A darker-skinned woman, wielding water in front of a sunset, her hair tied up with a branch of coral to keep it in place. She has fins for ears and an outfit covered in pearls, tassels and colourful patterns.

Finally back from the ol' sickness bout. This is Pearlseeker Suunari, briefly mentioned in the lore of my last post. I do plan to have lore accompany her, but that will be in the soon-future once my beta readers are done.

Upgraded my layout and I'm certainly paying for it. This guy isn't a traditional kelpie, but I like him. No sketch, as Kalti hasn't encountered this guy. I'll elaborate on the mentioned rebellion a little next time.
Potato
fitting quite honestly
No fancy art until the new year or so, but here, have an Aerith scribble with elf ears because I'm physically incapable of drawing a regular human person.

aaaand here is Carracosta, to be honest I enjoyed making these, a bit of a fresh air from doing the bigger pokemon sprites and instead doing smaller, more condensed ones, might do more of them
I did a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon styled sprite of Tirtouga, will do Carracosta another time

This is Archdragon Nhuie (Noo-e), who governs over Cryos (Ice). He lives atop the highest mountain in his icy homeland and those who go up without a protective talisman will fall into a deep slumber, never to wake.
A harpy, coloured in orange, green, yellow and white, that looks like a velociraptor. It has a green chest. Next to the harpy is a picture of a slightly-monstrous woman holding an all-white baby harpy on her arm.
Here are my harpies, based on sage grouses and velociraptors. I included a page with some (hopefully) more dyslexia-friendly font. I'll try to add them going forward, though I may forget sometimes.

Cuneiform-like letters on a paper background, inked in brown, surrounded by a border reminiscent of pie crust.

Sick this week, regular posting is delayed. Instead, here is my 'Ancient Language', based on cuneiforms! I'm not much of a conlanger, so Catalyst's languages are all ciphers. This one was used by the lost Shiath civilisation.
Today marks the day I age up by another year, woo~
No art today though, haven't been in an artistic mood as of late.

More of a general overview than frequently asked questions. This should do for now.
A unicorn with iridescent fur and long flowing hair. Its horn is a double helix shape and it holds a scar at the tip.

My first proper worldbuilding post. A Compilation of Beasts and Botanicals will be my way of introducing various 'regular' flora/fauna and some not so regular.

Last bit of my main buffer alongside a small preview of my worldbuilding art for next week. The elf girl was lighting practice based on a real life reference.

More character buffer deliverance. These two have to get posted together in my mind or else it just won't feel right.
Octavius "Orcus" Reed and Carolyn "Thistle" Wu. Pre-war individuals who survived through differing moralities.

Government mandated OC delivery as I make my buffer...
thanks~
I heavily appreciate the compliment, I know it is scrappy but I find the scrappy art a bit admirable at times
