And that platform I have to work differently which I dont mind. I accepted the slow burn. But if you are looking for an app that can push your videos to the right audience quickly, I haven't seen an app in my 6yrs as a creator that can do it like Tiktok.
I'm aware that on youtube, it could potentially get more views later in years. But that's just an example of how great the algorithm works when it works. I've also seen many small creators like me just pop off on Tiktok. When it works, it works. Youtube is a slow burn, that's ok
This tiktok ban is wild, but I want to point out how much the app is game changer. I had a yugioh video that was posted at the same time on two platforms, youtube and Tiktok. It was the same length. On Tiktok it got 10k views and on youtube, it was 40 views.
I need East Coast cons..New York cons specifically to be more interactive. It doesn't give me that vibe. Especially since these cons are getting expensive to attend.

I'm right now thinking of the time years ago when I had a terrible freelance experience. And it changed the way I saw freelance in film and mental health. You can find people that will help you and that will change your perspective on what you deserve moving forward.
If I would to give any film advice ever, is to make sure your first film freelance job is with people you'd vibe with. If you can help it, be with people that actually will help you grow. This can be friends or friends that can recommend you to great genuine people.
