This is what happens when you decide to go on a right-wing tubers account and become a crunchy to them. By just being reasonable.

No Plan, No Idea, No Ferries. Today’s announcement by the Minister of Finance means we don't know:
- where replacement ferries are coming from
- how much they will cost
- who will pay for them
- how the port infrastructure will be delivered,
- the fiscal or economic impact
A 🧵
My thoughts exactly!

Thank you for answering my question Chippy on BHN I will be following closely what Labour's policies will be like and I'll be interested if you can get my vote back
I propose a ‘Vision Kawanatanga’ movement. A movement led by Tangata Tiriti to develop a Kawanatanga space with all the beauty, diversity, inclusion and resilience that this space could be. Labour and Greens, would be an opportunity to grow something unifying beyond your party manifesto’s.
Take destruction of the social sciences whose role as critic and conscience of society ...
Add assault on te tiriti, environmental protection, bullying local authorities, firing of public servants
And stir
= far right recipe for NZ neolibs

Text of quote from Sir Edward Taihukurei Durie on Waitangi Day 1989: “We [Māori] must not forget that the Treaty is not just a Bill of Rights for Māori. It is a Bill of Rights for Pākehā too. It is the Treaty that gives Pākehā the right to be here. Without the Treaty there would be no lawful authority for the Pākehā presence in this part of the South Pacific . . . We must remember that, if we are the tangata whenua, the original people, then the Pākehā are the tangata Tiriti, those who belong to the land by right of that Treaty.”
Who is Te Tiriti o Waitangi, sometimes called The Treaty of Waitangi between and for?

“Every high school in New Zealand is set to receive a copy of a new book about the Treaty of Waitangi following a surprise donation by an Auckland couple.
The pair, who are Pākehā and did not want to be named, said they wanted to do their bit to help educate Kiwis.” #ToitūTeTiriti
