Superb afternoon double-dip yesterday with the team from the Golf Superintendents Network - Brian, Adam and Jesse. 18 holes at Atlantic National, 9 on"The Lit" short course, and a 9 holes of "Stymie" putting challenge on the Himalayan putting course.

Finally getting around to the Q&A we did with Alan Fike GCSAA at Seagate in Delray Beach several wks ago. Formerly the Director of Agronomy at Nemacolin, Fike transitioned from cool season northern turf to the hot/humid world of hybrid Bermuda grass. Hope to have it up on the site next week.

Professional golf is such a fine line and good players just need a break. Elvis Smylie missed the first stage of the Euro Tour School a month ago by a shot. Missed the cut at final stage last year by a shot.
He just won the AustralianPGA at Royal Queensland and a 2 year exemption in Europe.

Recently, we visited Nemacolin Resort in SW Pennsylvania, a destination that's unrivaled in its totality. Amazing dining and more activities than you could ever manage on one visit (maybe even two). And yes, it has 36 holes of thrilling Pete Dye (& Tim Liddy golf).
