Six years ago, I had the opportunity to perform at the Italian Academy in NY thanks to George Lewis, where I met his student Jessie Cox. Last year, my book «Hidden Heartache» was published, featuring an in-depth essay by Jessie along with a new composition, which I will premiere tomorrow.
Posts by Simone Keller
Jessie Cox: "For me, music came as a practice, as an intervention in the world. Music was never just about music. It is about life, about death, about politics, about society, about cultures, about nature and ecology, the cosmos, and more."
