Incredible shots of the exchange between Rep. AOC and RFK, Jr. at today’s congressional hearing.

I am so honored to share that two leaders of the City Council Progressive Caucus, Co-Chair @sandynurse.bsky.social and Co-Vice Chair Kayla Santosuosso have endorsed my run for City Council District 3️⃣!

Deeply honored to have the endorsement of my friend and Councilmember for the Lower East Side and East Village, Harvey Epstein. @harvey4council.bsky.social has long been a champion for economic justice and I am proud to join him in the fight on City Council.

Mamdani pick for Council seat draws the ire of LGBTQ+ leaders The mayor is backing Lindsey Boylan in a district represented for decades by gay lawmakers.

This is a lazy story, trying to stoke a fight between Mamdani & LGBT NYers.

@lindseyboylan.bsky.social will be a GREAT legislator for LGBTQ NYers.

Former speakers Corey Johnson & Christine Quinn were tools of the ruling class & not v good for most LGBTQ NYers.

Least obnoxious fundraising email I’ve ever received from a candidate who represents me. Good one @jabaribrisport.bsky.social!

Not at all liking Leslie. Too cozy with the west side fascist crowd.

“Representation” is not enough. Queer liberation is intertwined with liberation for working people and for people of color. We need a leader who is unafraid to challenge the systemic injustices that keep all of us down. And that leader is Lindsey Boylan.

Hey, @gothamist.com:

This article is bad and you should feel bad.

2 days ago 4 1 0 0

Also: It didn't "drew the ire of LGBTQ+" leaders.

It drew the ire of a very specific subset of cis gay men, mostly white.

CD3 has been a "dynasty" for decades:
Cis-white-gay-man anointing their staffer to take over

Maybe okay when they're the best candidate for our community. Now they aren't.

Rosskoff, in his effort to shame @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social as not knowing LGBTQ history, overlooked all the queers, including lesbian CM @tiffanycaban.bsky.social who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Mayor yesterday at his public endorsement of @lindseyboylan.bsky.social (photos by me) 5/

Shame on Allen Roskoff and Christine Quinn for being so completely out of touch. Council Speaker Menin's bills weaponizing NYPD against free speech, her endorsement of Carl Wilson and his statement in support of her speech squelching bills have angered a lot of us. 1/

At the city council hearing on these bills, one of our elected officials said that buffers at hospitals would protect queer people.

Us queers want to protest at hospitals right now because of them stopping GAC for minors.

My advice to Carl Wilson: tokens get spent.

Carl Wilson may be a cool dude himself, but someone in the Democratic establishment is doing him no favors.

They're trying to weaponize Carl's gay identity against Zohran and Boylan while his LGBTQ platform is actual nothing vs Boylan's total of $35 mil for queer issues.

I live in NYC District 3 — I’m ranking Lindsey Boylan FIRST. I don’t know about the others yet. I’m NOT ranking Carl Wilson. I’m a gay white male — but this pattern of crowning the next-in-line from gay white male city council member to their gay white male Chief of Staff is gross

You can also see it in the policies.

Boylan's platform is promising us queers $35 mil.

On Wilson's platform, his queer "policies" amount to "Tee hee, I'm a gay boy who's totally not a Menin puppet."

Boylan would do more to honor the legacy of Stonewall than Carl Wilson's no-policy-having ass.

This is pure BS.

I have personally known @lindseyboylan.bsky.social for around a decade. She has shown up for the entire LGBTQIA community, for trans rights, for trans youth - with inspiring consistency. Far more than many "gay candidates." 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Shout outs to @jabaribrisport.bsky.social.

We need more politicians who start from a position of helping the marginalized than those who start from a position of exploiting marginalized identities for their own gain.

I myself am over a decade removed from living in Jersey.

Since then, I've lived in every time zone in the continental US.

I still crack jokes about people who refer to Taylor Ham as "pork roll"... I'm also a vegetarian.

New Jersey will always hold a special place in my heart.

When I asked Carl Wilson if he would support the heinous “security perimeter” bill, his answer was “I am proud to be endorsed by Speaker Menin, and I trust her judgement so I plan to support the bill if elected.”

If identity politics is the only yardstick, that’s your candidate in this race…

Outrage at Stonewall after Supreme Court voids Colorado's conversion therapy ban Advocates gathered in New York City to denounce the decision, urging lawmakers to shore up protections for LGBTQ+ young people.

Proof Lindsey is a real one; I sure as hell didn't see Carl Wilson at Stonewall after this ruling dropped.

As a proud trans activist, I have been continuously proud to know and be politically aligned with Lindsey Boylan.

Not only do I think she would be the best for everyone in her district, she has been there for us.

This article has got real "This seat was promised to us 3000 years ago," energy.

Israel escalates attacks on medics in Lebanon with deadly ‘quadruple tap’ Lebanese health ministry says killing of 91 healthcare workers shows ‘total disregard’ for international law

The Israeli army struck civilians in the Lebanese city of Mayfadoun.

And then, the Israelis double-tapped the medics who arrived onto the scene.

And then, they triple-tapped the next wave of medics.

And then, they did it one more time for good measure.
