oh yeah i mean they all contain degrees of dark subject matter but not full blown snuff film & such. i rank pretty girls among books like brother & gone to see the river man in terms of subject matter & gore. i will also say the way KS writes women is really great for the genre too!!

jumping on to bluesky for the first time in months to chime in and agree—pretty girls is BY FAR her most grueling book. it fucked me up & i primarily read horror! def agree false witness is much lighter with the same type of writing—her series are super good too!!!

Oklahoma’s backlog of untested rape kits was identified as a problem years ago and they are finally being tested. Low and behold, serial rapists are being identified and put behind bars, or detained longer as more crimes surface. About time.
