Public Libraries can be wonderful places where children and adults can find books that they can see themselves reflected in, no matter who they are, and books that can introduce them to entire other lived experiences. Both are so valuable!

According to an inside source, Trump has picked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be the next secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

This will be horrible for public health. Kennedy will try to restrict vaccine access, spread misinformation, and weaken food and drug safety standards.

It blows my mind how much better the engagement is here.

I didn’t want to believe our voices were really being suppressed, but they definitely were.

Hopefully the people who run this platform fully understand the many reasons why a mass exodus of people has fled toxic X, and will do their best to ensure this place never becomes anything like that.

I can’t believe this needs to be said, but regulations exist for a reason. Without them, people die. Corporations pollute more, workers face greater risks, and consumers are left vulnerable. Yet this fucking asshole wants to strip them all away.

Anybody saying the Dems lost because of trans people is unserious AF. Harris was clearly unwilling to speak about us and Biden focused on his “I’ve got your back” refrain for most of his presidency.
