The big question with Edey was whether he could stay on the floor defensively in the NBA. He’s beaten the Boban allegations, at least.
Missi has a low ceiling offensively - rim running and putbacks will be his role. So we need to see more defensive growth to project him as a long-term starter.
Sarr flashes switchability and rim protection but any comps to JJJ end when you compare their rookie year defense.
Clingan needs to be a dominant defender to make up for his weakness as a finisher. So far, so good.
Ware being semi-competent on defense has earned him a big role ahead of schedule. His offensive upside makes him a huge dynasty riser.
Defense is THE developmental swing skill for bigs - determining if they develop into big minute starters, rotation players, or busts.
