He was replacement level last year and continues to be that this year. You didn’t need “great” to improve on that.

Not piling on him as much as the Brewers not looking to improve on the position in the off-season.

Ben Sheets would be an upgrade at the plate.

Honestly believe they only left him in for the last hitter because Hall wasn’t ready yet. Bigger question is why someone wasn’t warming up to start the inning.
