Apogee Journal - A lit mag that's been slowly but surely establishing their footprint within the indie lit space. Luna Station Quarterly - Dedicated to sharing the "vast talents of female speculative fiction writers," this lit mag is one of the most vibrant and visually appealing spec mags I know. Translunar Travelers Lounge - A newer lit mag, they feature stories that "explore the fun side" of fantasy and sci fi. The Deadlands - I've enjoyed working with this mag in the past. They pay professional rates and have several reading periods throughout the year.
