Jenkins reminds me of Bud in 2018. Has had proven success in the league with a good but not great roster, and is young enough where the game hasn't passed him by yet

A wide net can be good or sometimes it can lead to Adrian Griffin. As far as established Head coaches go I don't really see any that compare to Jenkins. If you want to roll the dice on an unproven assistant than I'd cast a wide not but I feel like Jenkins will be better than 75% of newbies

Taylor Jenkins is very clearly the job coach available imo so it would be smart to try to hire him quickly
