The football industry really has become the wild west this season. Whether it's selling stadiums/warehouses to yourself or reacting odd the back of a poor result. I honestly don't know where it's going to end up!#nufc

It was she had the mgmt contract running the business.

Interested to expand a little on basic political judgement. Is this Mandalson. Or broader in being aligned with the needs of the people he serves? WFA etc

Spending some time thinking about what comes next for #NUFC, but it's really hard while questions about the manager's role hang over things.

Regardless, just looking at the sort of press-resistant midfielders that we need to transition to a little more possession-focused play.

Full slate of Premier League player amortisation bills (i.e. annual cost of spreading transfer fees across player contracts) from 2024-25 here

PL/UEFA rules limit amortisation to five years, so can be (and are) differences between accounts and submissions when contracts >5 years

You sound a trifle upset....

Definitely fair. Some of the players are not running. That rightly highlights commitment issues.

Lucky boy!

I would say those two thoughts aren't mutually exclusive!

I disagree! We did improve the second half. The game state had some bearing but we controlled the game until we scored. We didn't create a lot but we managed it. The issue is we're weak on 'moments' and that's cost us a lot of points.

No he wasn't but he was better at left back and managed Rayan well until he got injured. Hall just had a bad game. I was sat on his side first half.

Because Hall was awful and the change actually helped. They created absolutely nothing until their goal.

Having said that. It's damning that their one free player scores with that amount of black and whites in the box. It was just a rank goal all round. Too many of them of late.

Agree it's a judgement but the coaching manual will always say focus on the primary risk which is player in 6 yard box. You have ball travelling time to address your direct opponent who isn't going to score direct from there. If is what it is but these are the small margins.

Exactly that. They just need to take care of the first ball. But all game we lost first and seconds.

Yeah but at this moment you're coached to deal with the primary danger. Stop attacker winning the ball. Burn good position then steps back. Overhit is secondary. Tbf these are rinse and repeat goals at present, CP, Sunderland etc

I'd also ask what Burn is doing there. He can see the ball and player and almost steps away before attacking the ball. None of them seemed on it.

Don't disagree. Not a mouthpiece for the club. I don't get why they aren't communicating the TG as all the plans are done!

No sneering from me!

However, it's likely that this is just one part of a much broader wider regeneration of the area. So while things on the pitch aren't great hopefully better times ahead. Don't be alarmed if TG goes quiet over the summer either #nufc

It's all feeling a bit meh at present but I do have it on good authority a heck of a lot is happening behind the scenes with the ๐ŸŸ๏ธ. A lot of focus on the planning side of things and aligning with NCC planning approach. I'm almost certain it's a new stadium and it will be on Leazes park. #nufc

Yep agree. We have to learn as a club. Sounds like we are but it's after the event now.

Yeah was out with a pal last night who is all over this stuff. Mixed views on where we're at. Club just needs to sort asap.

Awful that mind. We can manage these situations without impacting the animals.

Actually one more (at this rate I'll be heading to St James with a chicken and my fishing rod). PIF and co. Make this Matfen summit count. Set out the plan and the ambition. Make some decisions please!! #nufc

Completely agree. Barnes is a good scorer of great goals but his all round play is one dimensional. A moment where he couldn't look after the ball with back to play. You can't coach that. Elanga I'm struggling to defend anymore. Erratic. Osula incredibly raw and doesn't understand the position.
