There's not much yet, but it looks like Eleceed is officially being animated. (The promo video is mostly stills; I'm hoping they're still polishing the models still actual animation... one of the things I love most about the artist's work is the saturated color use, and it's a bit lacking in these).
Arcade's brush with diabetes earlier this year left him 10lbs lighter (he's always been upper teens or low 20s, weightwise - a large cat). Now he's gotten fast and I'm having a hard time adjusting LOL
If you're looking for some absurd fight animation, To Be Hero X Ep 12 and Predator: Killer of Killers are pretty dang good. (I haven't seen Lazarus yet, but in that case the expectations preceed it). Also, Still not tired of TBHX's theme songs.

We're up to 5 apple trees with the latest addition being Haralson (1913). This was supposed to go in-row with the others but ended up in a corner spot because it's standard sized stock. I'm interested to see how the growth compares with the semi-dwarf trees we already planted.
To Be Hero X has fantastic visual design. My favorite element is the cell-style smoke, ability and light effects overlaying fully shaded characters.
I'm also a big fan of worlds where the perceptions of others can tangibly change people (ex: Coldfire Trilogy).

Apparently my immune system is bored. If it doesn't have anything pressing to attend to it's busy attaking my joints. At least I know when I'm getting sick because I suddenly feel normal again (briefly). Bodies are so weird.

Good to know for next time, this takes a couple months to show signs. Still waiting to see if the topworking worked (probably not, see upper right). I can give it a try again next year.

I started test grafts this year on the big crabapple.
Grafting is absolutely an exercise it watch and wait (don't touch). One did put out leaves! I think the scion is from the school crab - hopefully it stays sucessful (it can still fail after putting out leaves).
I have a bunch of apple tree cuttings I'm eager to graft, but I'm told that I should wait until the leaves on the tree are 'the size of a squirrel's ear.'

Nomads (1986) is not an excellent movie, but the 'monsters' and how they operate are very similar to those in Peter Straub's Ghost Story (not the movie version, w/literal ghosts).
I do wish we could see a Flanagan series remake of Ghost Story, as I think he could absolutely nail it. Alas, unlikely.

I did this once with leftover turkey, but it never made it into a pie crust... I just ended up eating it with mashed potato like school lunch turkey w/gravy. XD
Proper hot chocolate is delicious and decadent, but sometimes what I want is packet hot cocoa mix with more water than recommended, since it reminds me of the hot cocoa sold by the ice skating rink I took lessons at as a kid.
