#deltarunespoilers just 3/4ths of chapter 3 and the rest of chapter 4 to do left of my third deltarune playthrough! hopefully will finish deltarune and start editing the all FNI custom levels main channel video by the end of this week. Then next week hopefully said video will be out.
#delatrunespoilers I've now finished my Deltarune pacifist and no recruits + snowgrave playthroughs, so it's just chapters 2 to 4 for all recruits + aborted snowgrave to keep ThornRing left. After I finish Deltarune, it'll probably be a couple months until chapter 5 comes out, so I'll focus on FNI.
so probably around three 150 levels runs a day, but I'd end up having time for 7 total runs (assuming they're ~100 minutes long)
I'll probably work on the Fire 'N Ice TASes and more edited videos and that kind of thing after this weekend, since I joined some speedrunning event where I do 12 hours out of the 48 hours of the weekend to learn a new category, in my case, FNI 150 Levels. Rest of my free time might be deltarune idk
The 58:28.050 Fire 'N Ice Any% TAS that I made, which has gotten 124 views and 16.4 watch hours in 44 hours.
The 56:28.979 Solomon's Key 2 (60 Hz) Any% run I did months ago, while speedruns were still on my main channel, that got 88 views in the first 2 days (or 128 total).
wowie! I expected my full Fire 'N Ice any% TAS to perform better than any of the individual worlds, but this video has performed even better than the long form I had previously gotten the most views in two days from.
Here's the TAS I made for Fire 'N Ice any%, that's a 58:28.050 (power on), or a 58:26.100 (RTA start time). Basically it uses tas_suki's fastest inputs, ZodaNOR's WR route for most levels, and pausing almost every animation to get the fastest cycles in every even boss level.

I'll probably submit the Fire 'N Ice any% TAS to tasvideos tomorrow, since then I'll have plenty of time to make a very detailed description of the TAS, instead of cramming my effort of describing the TAS in just today, when I've already been busy recording the full any% TAS and doing other work.

This'll probably get quite a bit more fans of Fire 'N Ice / attention on FNI speedrunning since tasvideos TASes seem to get a few thousand views within a few days, much more than any of my longforms on either channel, so that'll be great!
Idk how long it'll take to get judged but I'm 99% sure it'll get accepted since it beats WR by ~24 seconds, beats fastest off-site TAS by ~86 seconds, and beats fastest on-site TAS by ~292 seconds, so it's by far the fastest in every conceivable way.
just world 10 left to record now (90 levels done), so a little over 1/6th of the recording left. May actually finish before 9:00 pst instead of around 9:30 pst, which is great. In this case, I bet I'll be able to submit the any% TAS to tasvideos today.
30 minutes or so now, and 64 levels done, so around half of the TAS has been recorded. may be done around 9:30 pst, then a bit of time to upload and that kind of thing before it releases, probably today
50 levels recorded thus far, or ~22.5 minutes. May take another 2 to 3 hours to finish recording the rest of the any% TAS, or about 4 total hours, as it's been going at a rate of about 1/4th normal speed.

yeah definitely, I wanted to finish the TAS before I had to wake up for something at 8am, but I had stayed up until 5am the previous day so I didn't have enough time to get it all done and go to bed at a reasonable time, and for some reason I had to choose finishing the TAS and going to bed at 4am.
haha, true. To finish making the Fire 'N Ice any% TAS so quickly, in under a week, I had to sacrifice so much sleep, so not something I should really do, even though I'm technically capable.
Oh, I see. Makes more sense than you absolutely locking in and finishing a bajillion songs in a few days or so, although that isn't impossible.
I've started the recording of the Fire 'N Ice any% TAS, it'll take a while longer than just the ~58.5 minutes of the TAS since BizHawk emulation prioritizes accuracy over speed, making the time to record the TAS longer than the TAS itself. Have so far recorded the first 21 levels, or maybe 8 minutes
I should make a Fire 'N Ice song tier list, since Druidle Appearance is my most used in edited videos, and I think it's peak, the boss level theme is also peak, maybe better than DA, and there's really no bad songs. Maybe 2nd channel, or if I edit it well, main channel.
I do! It's all of the other Fire 'N Ice songs, like Druidle Appearance, the cutscene intro to a boss level and the title intro songs, which I think are new, and I think the old songs might be pitched differently, or that could just be my imagination. Also waow that boss level theme is great!!!
Not as fast as I expected, but that's because I thought the IW WRs were way more optimized, and super close to Zoda's SoB, but those are Zoda's sum of IL bests, which are a lot easier to optimize than IWs. Sub 58:30 TAS is probably somehow possible, but not something I'll go for.
For TAS rules, where you start at power on, it's 58:33.867, and for any% rules, it's 58:31.883.
Will record and upload the full any% TAS shortly, 27.950 seconds of time save over all IW WRs, although this isn't enough to know the full TAS time, since the full TAS is made, I can just count it.
Is sub 12 world 10 humanly viable? Ehhhhhhh? Probably not. Considering SMB1 is so highly optimized, WR is under 10 frames away from perfect, here there's 53 frames of wiggle room (assuming this TAS is perfect), and this is much longer than SMB1, plus way less people are running Fire 'N Ice W10.
Druidle 10-10 saved 3.117 over Zoda's WR, being 47.250, yet again the biggest time save, being the biggest time save in a boss level (more than 2.633 in 8-10)

I just have 5 or 6 (depending on if you separate Non-Druidle 10-10 and Druidle 10-10) levels left to TAS for Fire 'N Ice Any%, plus I already sort of TASed the 10-10s, just will need to adjust them to be a bit faster, so I'll be done pretty soon!
