Im usually pretty disparaging of shooting movies on phones, but this is wonderful and I want to watch it on an imax screen.
I wasn't actually saying anything about the books, just that there is no way one can possibly spend money on these things and not be indirectly funding a hate campaign.
But for the record, they're an almost direct rip off of the worst witch, but with added racist stereotypes.
This argument holds absolutely no water when the artist in question is using profits from their art to actively harm the subject of their bigotry, through political campianing.
Imagine being so utterly incapable of leading anyone or anything, that you think this exonerates you.
I don't understand how every prime minister we've had for decades can possibly be so bad at being in charge and taking responsibility.
I will support any political party that promises to build a new window turbine on his golf course every time this dickhead whinges about windmills.
It’s profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that that’s what Daredevil is for
A watercolour and pen illustration of the SLS Artemis II rocket approximately 1 second after liftoff. The rocket is from a fisheye perspective and the base of the rocket is washed out from the light of the engines. The smoke from the launch is visible in the background.
Hey space nerds, I made art inspired by Artemis II.
It seemed appropriate to do a picture of the launch, given this mission is launching humans back to the moon. I'm really pleased with it.
It's watercolour and pen on Bristol board, and prints are available here:

This is amazing.
A redrawn version of a classic Fantastic Four pinup page by Jack Kirby with the crew of the Artemis 2
My tribute to the Artemis 2 crew in the style of Jack Kirby
First day in over a week that I haven't been able to watch video of the Artemis II crew on Youtube.
I assume this is how normal people feel when a season of Big Brother or a sports tournament has ended.
I keep hysterically laughing at this.
The ESM and crew capsule separate.
The Artemis II Orion capsule "Integrity" has separated from the European Service Module.
The crew is now flying entirely ballistically.
Eighteen minutes to atmospheric entry interface.
Well just leave this here, sweet pea
“Join our national call on April 9th at 7pm ET to hear the latest from the May Day Strong network: including our demands for May 1, the cities that have committed to No Work No School No Shopping, and how we are building the power needed to stop the billionaire agenda”
He's not. Very obviously so. And pretending he is legitimises the behaviour of a man who is demonstrably both a fascist and a lunatic.
This isn't journalism, its pathetic. You should be ashamed of yourselves for publishing it.
I would suggest the first step in stopping that is Israel not murdering innocent civilians and in doing so creating more support for Hezbollah.
Its the equivalent of the US bombing northern Mexico to stop drug cartels - a nonsensical policy that can't be defended.
Remember when the US president threatened to start a nuclear war and the UK Prime Minister took time out of his day to tweet about Kanye West?
The ideal model for this is the way @zackpolanski.bsky.social will simply tell someone they're talking bullshit, then direct the ire people are feeling towards the actual culprits of their misery
I think the biggest mistake we made with brexit was assuming we were debating in good faith. In doing do a lot of us legitimised ideas that were untrue, and laid the groundwork for where we are now. I genuinely believe calling out bullshit and playing to emotion is more effective.
Much, much easier to destroy his movement now than if they take power.
A lot of that is going to come down to making his supporters feel like their open racism costs them. Whether thats articulating the economic cost or making sure they're unwelcome wherever they want to be.
On the 24th January AD41, the made emperor Caligula was killed by his praetorian guard, the Imperial bodyguard.
No idea what made me think of that today.
You misspelled "committing genocide".
Stop pretending this man isn't a threat to everyone on earth you pathertic cowards.
"What can Democrats do?"
When the South Korean president attempted to declare martial law, South Korean lawmakers literally fought through tanks and military forces and climbed fences to get into their Parliament building to stop him.
So, you know, that.
This, but the judge at the sentencing is Gritty.
The disk of the Moon, a small portion at upper left illuminated. The Sun's corona emanates from behind the Moon, looking diffuse. Several stars are visible.
Oh my.
This is what the Artemis II astronauts saw yesterday when the Moon eclipsed the Sun.

Earthset captured through the Orion spacecraft window at 6:41 p.m. EDT, April 6, 2026, during the Artemis II crew’s flyby of the Moon. A muted blue Earth with bright white clouds sets behind the cratered lunar surface. The dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime. On Earth’s day side, swirling clouds are visible over the Australia and Oceania region. In the foreground, Ohm crater has terraced edges and a flat floor interrupted by central peaks. Central peaks form in complex craters when the lunar surface, liquefied on impact, splashes upwards during the crater’s formation. [alt text from NASA]
#Artemis II lunar flyby images are showing up! 😍

In a civilised world he would be in prison now, awaiting punishment for his treason, sedition and being a paedophile.
Now he wants to add genocide to that list.
The US needs a general strike and to get out on the streets until he and his enablers are torn from power and held accountable.
Given how incredibly thoughtful he seems to be, and how articulate, NASA really should send Victor Glover to be the first human to return to the Moon. Or first person on Mars.
All the Artemis II Integrity crew have been incredible, Glover is just astonishingly inspirational.
