Mine is more based on "Well, that's an entirely unwarranted assumption. Think like a Bayesian, dammit", followed by search Fu and industrial amounts of coding

Good luck America. Grace says it better than I can.

Thanks! Looks marvellous
But what's in the salad?
White flower blushed pink, showing 4 slightly overlapping petals plus one at the bottom, longer and separate
Close up of one of the flowers, because the shape is distinctive ๐ฑ
Me too!
No, I really don't. We have masses of honeysuckle colonising the other end of the garden, and this is not the same.
I can see where you're coming from, but the leaves are wider and mercifully it doesn't spread ๐ฑ
Very pretty indeed, do you know the name?
Close up of 5 petalled flowers, white blushed with pink on the tips
Flowers, white blushed pink, and plain, wide, rounded leaves in a light to mid green, but in the shade so they look darker
10 ft tall, fairly upright shrub with some lower branches arching. Leaves are bright where they're in the sun.
Can anyone help me identify this shrub? It was in my Vale of York, UK, garden when we moved in. It will happily grow to 10ft. ๐ฑ
Gefeliciteerd!
Ooh good call on Lucy Boston

Slightly less specific sadly, but indeed, that is Newton's apple tree. I'm actually at West Hub, but that's less photogenic
A bare-leafed, elderly fruit tree with a light brown stone building behind it, with a stepped gable and the edge of a red brick gateway with a narrow octagonal white stone and red brick mini turret.
Back somewhere I haven't visited since I was a teenager, for a @mrcnihrtmrp.bsky.social DTP training session. Where am I? #PhDSky
On my last visit to SCruz, 15 years ago, I mailed myself a massive box of books I'd bought at Bookshop Santa Cruz, and it cost money, but not egregious money.
Two Siamese cats curled up together on a bed. The chocolate point is using the red point's hip as a pillow; the red point is hugging him back.

Postage is *so much* now. Even for tiny things.
A middle-aged person with brown hair and a fair isle jumper, with a bookshelf behind them. Climbing across their shoulders, behind their neck, is a red point siamese cat.

How are people feeling about travelling long distance to US-organised academic confs this year? Got a poster accepted for the Society for Clinical Trials one; it's in Vancouver but will there be too few people there to justify that huge chunk of my training budget? #AcademicSky #PhDSky
It had no effect, nor did I get an answer. Only 1 person on the social media panel mentioned BlueSky, and that fleetingly; another commented that it had far fewer users than X. Well, yeah, if organisations don't migrate, or do but don't post, then people who need that info don't either...
Also learning that when I take ADHD meds after a long period of not taking #ADHD meds, 11 hours later I am still Way Too Alert for someone who left the house 12.5 hours ago. Note to self: take before 9am next time. #PhDSky
And if you have made a big, text-box-filled diagram for your website, don't put it on a slide. Websites have zoom in capability, small conference centre screens do not.
But also, you have to stop reading. The balance is hard!

That is absolutely what I'm doing
Oh oh! I had not thought to see if ggplot would export to SVG. I should be able to do the same thing with my trusty Inkscape (Linux/Windows/Mac, free).
Is there a Prof one?
