Update on re-entry into the U.S.:
Major airports have expanded areas of the airports where videos and photos are prohibited. Ironically, they state that photos are not allowed without their approval. Meanwhile, they continue to disregard our consent when it comes to capturing images of us.

There have also been 1000s of detonations for "testing" Hiroshima and Nagasaki are still deeply affected by the destruction of these weapons. The damage never truly leaves.

I heard the familiar confirmation beeps as each person read the sign and walked through, facial recognition without consent.

This is illegal by the way. I always wear a mask, cap, glasses, and other methods, so it didn’t beep for me.

Recently at Delta gate boarding, they taped a sign about checking passports OVER the face scanner screen, but they CUT OUT holes just for the facial recognition camera so you would not know you were being scanned as you read the sign.

CLEAR kiosks are not really that different from Sam Altman’s World Orb. Harvesting retina and biometric data for tracking across sectors under the guise of authentication. One is a rectangle and one is round, but they are both surveillance.

And if you can do without the same handle across social media, that’s a bonus too.

Having the same username increases tracking and surveillance across accounts.

This is where the passkeys and password mangers can help. Don’t have passwords you can remember. Don’t have usernames you remember either.

For accounts that require usernames (outside social media handles), I recommend you do not use the same one over and over. Just as you do not use the same password across accounts, we should not be using the same username either, when possible.

The profound peace of writing something down with a pen and paper and putting it away, knowing it will not be scanned or scraped by AI, is unmatched.

There are now 5 known living Korean survivors of Japan’s sexual enslavement, after one elder passed last week.

I cried deeply when I heard about her passing. They still have not been fully acknowledged. We have been running out of time, history, and life.

Of the 100s of 1000s subjected to sexual enslavement by Japan and the U.S. during the Japanese occupation across Asia, there were only 240 women who were officially registered in Korea, because of reasons like social shaming and lost connections. Of those, we now only have 5 elders remaining.
