Having a universal credit review so gave them the required 4 months of bank statements. No turns out I did it wrong because they had to be submitted about a week before the end of March, but they want the statements to cover the end of March/start of April. I'll just casually time travel then.
Photo of Pedro Pascal wearing a dark grey blazer and loosely tied necktie, paired with short blue denim jorts. He is holding some cream coloured roses in one hand and the other is over his crotch where he has suggestively tucked his index finger into his fly. You’re welcome.
I might be misreading things but it feels like the timeline could use a picture of Pedro Pascal in little shorty jorts
Watching an ER from 2001 & Malik just had to grab a textbook for Carter.
"You ever seen measles?"
"Nobody has."
That was just 25 years ago.
I didn't realise I was still furious with everyone involved in that garbage study. They haven't been kicked in the balls anywhere near enough.
My cat tilting his head toward the Integrity module on the television as it parachutes toward splashdown.
To all the Cats who collectively assisted in the Splashdown portion of the Artemis II mission, including my Gonzo, I salute you and thank you for your service. #catsthatlovenasa #cats #nasa #artemisII
I've obviously never ever used it myself but I've heard on the grapevine that you can get 3rd party Reddit apps working again via revanced. It takes a bit of technical knowhow though.
A grey cat sat on a blue foot rest. He stares off in annoyance, with a paw outstretched.
Anyone else have a cat who loves to complain to them no matter what? Bear loved the sunny weather yesterday, but today he was back to complaining about it to me as if it was too warm. No doubt when it rains over the weekend he will complain about that. He's in it for the love of the game.
Crescent (partially illuminated) Moon and Earth facing the Sun. The Sun is just out of frame to the right leaving flares of light reaching out toward the left. NASA/Artemis II/Kevin M. Gill
This might be one of my favorites from Artemis II. A cinematic alignment of the Moon and Earth, each cradled within the warmth of sunbeams.
Taken from behind the Moon on April 6th.

nasa employee: oh hey u guys are back early
british astronaut: moon's shit innit
nasa employee: what?
british astronaut: moon's fucking shit. boring fucking rubbish. (sits down to listelessly watch UK TV Gold before rubbing one out to the Adult Channel preview.)
an inspiration for us all. she got out.
A hand holding a 1 litre bottle of Pretty Skin Rice Glow shower gel.
Went to TK Maxx for the first time in ages and bought an enormous shower gel. I think it's cured all of my mental health issues.
You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch
This quote from Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell has been in my head the last few days
Screenshot from the NASA Artemis II launch livestream showing the core stage separation from a camera on the rocket.
What a fucking shot holy shit
Why do I cry when watching space launches? It even happens when I'm watching a fictional one in a film or TV show.
If I remember correctly in at least one Apollo mission a poo got free and floated about the capsule. The astronauts had to chase it and recapture it.
a little screencap from the corner of the artemis II launch youtube channel, showing velocity 18120 m/h, 214 miles from earth, and 241,734 miles TO the moon
Are we there yet
"It's the Moon, stop saying 'Are we there yet'"
Oh sorry
Are we there YET
Yeah when cats have trainable friendly personalities they are extremely good at it.
I keep having all sorts of interesting blood tests done for my mystery blood clotting issue, this time it involved snake venom. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dilute_...
And let's face it recovery is expensive. I'm looking at doing a gentle pilates class with a teacher who understands my limits but it's almost £20 a week. Higher quality food, private medications like medical weed, etc, all are £££.
If they think a condition has a chance of recovery, how do they expect those people to be able to recover if they can’t afford to eat or heat their home?
Hundreds of thousands of disabled people will have their benefit almost halved if the government assesses their condition might one day improve. Charities warn the move could cause large-scale hardship, including “destitution.”
My report in tomorrow’s Guardian: www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Drunk elephants are real 🐘😂
They just love Marula fruit and eat them when they’re fermented (with alcohol levels similar to beer) so end up hilariously tipsy! Reminds me of the Mead Hall on a Saturday night
step 1: make nhs care impossible
step 2: ban private care
step 3: "oh look, PIP awards have gone down. aren't we a good labour party"
Black-and-white photo and a shiny black cat lying on its side. There’s motion blur around its head and forepaws as it is clearly biting and chewing on a folder or stack of papers in its grip.
Demonic entity caught on film. Photo from my collection, no date/info.
"Newborn whales are negatively buoyant.... So without effort, newborns will sink. For the first three hours after the calf was born, every whale present took a turn keeping it afloat." ❤️
How incredible: “The full delivery took about 30 minutes. For hours afterward, pairs of whales held the baby above the water until it was able to swim…
What struck the researchers was how many mother, sister and daughter whales united to support the new calf, even ones that weren’t related.”
Happy polio vaccine announcement anniversary. "There is no patent. Could you patent the sun?" remains one of the hardest remarks of all time. Kind of quote every child should be taught
On June 6 of 1972, he changed the dating of the story to be 100 years after Aragorn's death: "I have written nothing beyond the first few years of the Fourth Age. (Except the beginning of a tale supposed to refer to the end of the reign of Eldarion about 100 years after the death of Aragorn. Then I of course discovered that the King's Peace would contain no tales worth recounting; and his wars would have little interest after the overthrow of Sauron; but that almost certainly a restlessness would appear about then, owing to the (it seems) inevitable boredom of Men with the good: there would be secret societies practising dark cults, and 'orc-cults' among adolescents.)" -from The Letters of J. R. R. Tolkien Letter 338.
Tolkien's own abandoned sequel to The Lord of the Rings sounds worryingly prophetic.
In a time of peace and comfort, young Men of the West turned to the dark side for no better reason than that they were *bored*.
