I like this a lot. My tree is 79 years old. It’s fully grown. Maybe it survived a wildfire or a flood or a tornado. Maybe it gives out maple syrup. It houses squirrels and birds. It’s been thru a lot and still standing.

Just like me.

🚨BREAKING!🚨

The UCP have officially voted to ditch the Electoral Boundaries Commission Report to appoint their own commission and draw their own maps!

Gerrymandering is official UCP policy in Alberta!

Contrary to her script, Smith didn't even show up for the vote.

I just watched the movie 2073 (on Prime) and all I can say is holy crap. It’s important to see it, even though it can be difficult to watch.

There are fewer than a dozen trans people in professional sports. But there are 62 million straight men visiting a “How To Rape” website. Guess which group conservatives are worried about.😢

This is the face of a war criminal.
The IDF say they are rooting out terrorists. Instead their soldiers are terrorizing people out of their homes and then setting themselves up in the abandoned homes and stealing their food.
Israel is a terror state.

Possible changes to Alberta’s electoral map put democracy at risk If the UCP fiddles with the map, it could guarantee a conservative supermajority for a generation

Rachel Notley: “The UCP is cheating to secure themselves a supermajority. And though I was an Alberta NDP premier and remain an Alberta NDP member, my concern with a UCP supermajority is more than partisan. A government that has no electoral accountability can hardly be called a democracy.”

Banning books does not promote education
Fighting with doctors does not help healthcare
Victimizing trans-people is not freedom
Promoting separation is not unity
Fighting with Ottawa is not an achievement
Taking away our rights using the Notwithstanding clause is authoritarianism

Good advice - especially advice that helps keep people safe - is worth amplifying. Share this idea with the young people in your life. Better yet, be the person who helps, if anyone ever tries this with you.

I opened a book and in I strode
Now nobody can find me.
I’ve left my chair, my house, my road,
My town and my world behind me.

Canada's prime minister says economic connection to the U.S. has shifted from a strength to a weakness Prime Minister Mark Carney said tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump have impacted workers in such major industries as auto and steel and prompted businesses to hold back investments.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said in a video address released Sunday that Canada's strong economic ties to the United States were once a strength but are now a weakness that must be corrected. https://to.pbs.org/4tf50lM

A large white waterfowl with orange feet stands in front of a door. On the door is a cardboard sign secured with tape that reads, "DO NOT LET THE DUCK IN."

Adding insult to injury, I think the duck might be a goose.

WOW: A stunning new report in the WSJ reveals that military advisers intentionally excluded Donald Trump from the command room during the recent high-stakes operation to extract a downed U.S. airman in Iran, because they feared his erratic behavior could jeopardize the mission. 1/

My father had dementia, died in his late nineties, and his eyes looked tired, but not dead like Trump’s. Others with him in LTC did though.
