Guy who gets a semi reading Dickens on workhouses

You've identified the concept of an externality
in the initial draft it was Robber T. Baron, so they did a little punch-up
Welp, can't say I didn't see it coming, they cut down everyone's salaries about a month ago due to limited runway, but the company I was working for laid me off.
Need full time TypeScript and/or Solidity work ASAP
Literally never mind, lol. I just got out of a job interview and my brain is fried.
Wait, is this how I learn that Sherman was gay?
Oh, nobody loves a harmless dirty joke about balls like a little old lady
orchid roots look like balls
I could never figure out why orchids were named after testicles and vaguely assumed there was some Old World species of flower that must resemble them. Then I saw the roots
school tomorrow meme kid
I want to know what the "collapse of the Sixth Party System" numbers are. How were the Whigs doing?
No, she doesn’t. I follow her for a reason. It’s the power of negative polarization imo
No, you’re being evasive and playing games and we’ve both read enough depo transcripts to know what that looks like. Cheers.
Ha, hikiko is an engineer, I'm a lawyer. Have fun over there and feel free to engage with the question plainly if and when you feel like it.
If your point is that they are incapable of physical inquiry, sure okay (and it would be more convincing if you would stop hiding the ball) but they are also incapable of enjoying a delicious chocolate sundae, so?
I have no idea. (This is very silly and I admire Hikkiko humoring you, but come on.)
A: "their ability to prove conjectures likely comes down to being able to synthesize partial solutions in their data sets"
yeah, me too? what do you think learning is?
B: this was GPT-5.4, not the nebulous "cancer research models"
I did
no great deed is commemorated here

I was working on my little rust project this afternoon doing a small refactor, Haiku said some dumb shit, I switched to Opus to plan it out, then told Haiku to do it, whereupon it promptly started doing the dumb thing that made me banish it in the first place
But that’s still really just typing/data entry, which is good for the glorified autocomplete
I don’t think I’d use it to write anything involving close analysis of facts. Whatever it might help with, that’s not it. I use it more as a typist, so it’s really only helping to fill the page. It might be good at streamlining a statement of undisputed material facts because of the structure
That’s fair. I have ADHD, which I learned only a few years ago, and starting from some kind of skeleton is extremely helpful in organizing my thoughts, even if it’s just spotting why the skeleton is bad.
Or more accurately, editing its rough draft saves me time versus starting from an empty page, even it’s all mine by the end.
Reviewing output for errors is not slower than typing it myself, for me. Often enough not that it’s worthwhile, anyway.
Yes, there are circumstances to which it will be ill suited.
You’re a faster typist than I am.
Yes, because it’s not a matter of instructions. An LLM is a blob of code that is fed tokens and processes them statelessly. If you don’t feed it tokens from Client A, Client A doesn’t exist.
As for the rest, you would review the output, which is the minimum diligence for any professional.
You would partition by case file. It would be foolish not to really, because you’d be wasting context with irrelevant tokens otherwise.
That’s a design question. For Claude Code, it’s usually a working directory and nothing outside that directory exists.
