At the federal level, during skyrocketing energy prices, Trump cut billions in solar funding that would have put up more panels in places like large parking lots. It would have quickly added electricity to the grid.

It’s frustrating, but we keep doing what we can while we wait for change.

Short answer? Republicans.

@pahousedems.com pass similar bills - just last month we passed one to require new warehouses be built with a solar ready roof. Incentives were included to refit old ones too. It’s up to the GOP Senate now - we’d love pressure on them to vote it out.
